Poor quality leather that deteriorates quickly
I have purchased two of these wallets. I purchased one in May 2017 and used it for 2 years. The second wallet I purchased in May 2019 and used for 6 months. The first wallet excited me with the great design and slim profile it offers. Its a great design that works fairly well at first. Unfortunately the leather stretches way too easily. Once you use more than two cards on either side it permanently stretches that card slot. At that point you have to keep a minimum of three cards on either side or the cards will just slide out. I assumed that I just stretched the leather due to my style of use. So I ordered a second wallet. The moment the second wallet arrived you could see a drastic drop in quality from the first wallet. Even with soft gentle use the new wallet was experiencing fade and rub off issues immediately. I could rant all day long or you can just look at the photos. The top wallet in the photos is the newer wallet that was only used for 6 months. It looks like garbage compared to the other wallet that was used 4 times longer. Denim rub, card rub, dye fading, edges falling apart and leather rubbing off just make it look terrible. The bottom wallet was the wallet I purchased the first time. It also looks terrible over time as well, but held up much better than the second wallet and was used for 2 years rather than 6 months.Ultimately, the attempt to fold edges and stitch them back under themselves is a terrible idea. If they want crisp edges then they should cut to length, burnish and paint the edges so they withstand wear and tear. A decent wallet with good quality veg tan leather, high quality dyes, proper burnished and edge detail will develop a nice patina with wear. This product will simply look worse over time. If you want a decent cardholder there are plenty of other high quality brands like Bosca that sell products on Amazon.

Almost perfect. One potential design concern
I've had this wallet for a couple of weeks now. So far, so good. What I like: Great size. One of my previous wallets was a 'card' wallet. When I put cash in it folded up, the top of the cash stuck out, which not only didn't look good, but it also led to the top of the cash being damaged. I also like the physical design of having two cards on one side, two cards on the other side, and cash in the middle. I keep my most frequently used credit and card and driver's license on one side and two other cards on the other side. This still leaves space for some cash and maybe one other card in the middle. I also like the build quality and the fact that this is still a thin wallet compared to traditional fold over wallets. The last wallet I used was The Ridge wallet, which is very minimalist. I liked it, but it was difficult at times to get cards out of the middle of it and it was very difficult to fold up cash and get it in the strap (particularly if you were in a hurry), so the Micro Sleeve is much better on that front. What I'm worried about: The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c of the design of the two outside pockets. Specifically, they face different directions, meaning if you're accessing cards in one of the outside pockets, the outside pocket on the other side is upside down. I worry that over time as the leather loosens up, it could result in one of my cards falling out b/c it's upside down. I have tried the 'shake' test and if I shake the wallet hard enough, I can get the cards to fall out, but if I find myself being shaken like that, my wallet will be the least of my concerns. :) I assume they designed it this way so that you can pinch the two sides and it opens up more easily. With that said, I'd trade easier access to the cash for the security of knowing a couple of my cards aren't upside down while I'm accessing other cards.Overall, I really like it. I went out on a fashion limb and got the caramel and grey color. I like it and since I'm a Longhorn fan, I tell people it's burnt orange instead of caramel. Hook'em!

Good wallet just be careful using heavier metal cards
*final long term review update*So it’s been over a year since I’ve been using the warranty replacement wallet. I’ve found the issue with cards falling out. If you only use plastic cards and always keep the same amount of cards this wallet will work well. But if you have a metal card like Chase Sapphire, Apple, etc then the extra weight will pull the card out of the sleeve. So I’m sticking still with four stars as it’s a great minimal wallet, just be careful with heavier metal cards.*UPDATE WARRANTY*An update to Bellroy with great customer service. I contacted Bellroy and was sent a new replacement wallet within a few days. Hopefully this one holds cards better. It could be a design flaw or I just received a bad one. I'll update again in a few months if things change but definitely with customer support and Bellroy backing their product this deserves a bump from 1 to 4 stars immediately!I love the design and have other Bellroy wallets. However this slim leather wallet is basically useless. With less than 4 weeks of use and now two months into use, this wallet cannot hold my cards, they slip out all the time. I placed two cards on each slot and carried 5-6 bills inside the pocket at most. I'm very nervous to use this thing as I may lose a card. Basically a worthless wallet now.

Excellent front pocket wallet
I did a bunch of research and bought 8 wallets, this being one of them. It was a tough decision between this and the Boconi Slimster, but ultimately the Slimster won out. It is just more functional. I was very impressed at how easy it was to put cash in and take out; most sleeves you have to jam the money in and fold it twice, but this slid in there perfectly (the creased opening made it great) without folding a second time. At the end though, this is designed for 4 cards and cash, and I can only minimize to 6 cards, which it still held fine, but I preferred the easier access of the Boconi. I think this is a very nice wallet that is well made, and is perfect for someone who wants a minimalist front pocket wallet w/ 4 cards or less.

Stretches over time
Like how small it is, but it stretches over time so even though I only keep two cards in each side, they tend to start slipping out after a few months.

Slots are too loose. Two cards needed in each minimum.
Lovely leather wallet up to Bellroy’s usual high standard. But. The slots are very loose. Fortunately I keep two in each of the outer slots, but if you want to go ultra-minimal and keep one card in each slot, they WILL just fall out. And because they are oriented differently, you always have one card facing down. A real pain!

Great but side pouches loosen a little
The wallet is good quality and fits plenty whilst remaining slim. My only gripe is that the side pockets do stretch and become loose over time

All you really need.
This is a great slim wallet. It looks great and is of fantastic quality. I have a much larger Bellroy wallet that will also accommodate my phone but this one is great for the times when you just need a couple of cards and some cash. You do need to fold the notes into 3 but that’s not a big deal and is worth it for the economy of size you get. I am finding that I am taking the micro sleeve with me more and more as I don’t actually need all the stuff in my bigger wallet.

An excellent, stylish minimalist wallet
An excellent, stylish minimalist wallet. It is perfect for 2 cards on each side, plus some cash (or cards) in the middle of the sleeve. It's worth noting that if you use two cards on both sides, if you only have 1 card in, the side slots can be a bit loose; that said, I would still thoroughly recommend it.
