Amazing read on crucial organization topic: getting a view on your data and use it efficiently
Artificial Intelligence is a crucial topic if you want to run your organization efficiently. In the end, all decisions are (supposed to be) made on data and numbers. And that's exactly what this book is covering. I was new to the technical details of AI, and a beginner in PowerBI - what this book thaught me, is how to leverage the strengths of both worlds and bring them together. Mary-Jo, having a background in neuroscience, managed to combine all aspects of today's interests in Artificial Intelligence, together with the power of reporting using PowerBI. A great read for anyone who's interested in learning more about how to correctly gather data, analyze it by using Artifical Intelligence services, and distilling business-ready reports and data results out of it. Valid for both beginners in the domain, as well as already more advanced users in the technical domain who want to spice up their knowledge.

Comprehensive and practical book
After gone through the book in big detail, I find the following:Pros:- it covers well many fundamental aspects about data preparation for AI / ML- it is very practical, showcasing many examples and applications combining Power BI, Azure ML, Power Apps and Power Automate- it gives great recommendations how to develop applications- it shows the basics of ML- it doesn't use any programming language, so it is a true no-code development- it covers a wide variety of use cases: forecasting, NLP, Q&A, Cognitive Services, Object detection from image, autoML, etc... all leveraging Azure Cognitive Services and Azure ML- it shows how to put ML / AI projects in production by using Power BI and Azure- it gives great perspective on ethics and fairness on AICons- it uses some concepts of cloud computing that perhaps a regular business user may not get at first. So I recommend to do parallel research- it doesn't show how to prepare complex data for AI and ML- I personally miss more fundamentals on the concept of dataframe, but the foundations shows at the book are very good

Incredible resource for Power BI Developers who want to incorporate AI
This is the first comprehensive resource related to the implementation of AI in Power BI.A few key things to note:- The primary audience is Data Analysts - people like me!- The book is incredibly well written and explains fundamental principles of AI along with practical application in Power BI- I found the level of detail/depth to be perfect for my needs as an analyst. I am not trying to get formal training as a data scientist - and that's not what this book does.- Related to my point above, this does pique my interest in data science, which is a plus!- It is clear to me that Mary-Jo has incredible Power BI expertise, in addition to her AI brilliance. She's got great tips/tricks and warnings about Power BI behavior sprinkled throughout the book- Last but not least, the included exercises are excellent. Easy to follow along with, clearly written, and an added bonus of a fun dataset.I'm certain I'll be referring back to this book and also using more AI in my daily work.

Great concept mapping and explanation
I like how this book takes all related concepts and covers the definitions first in a high-level explanation. It is important for me to see a full picture and where different concepts fit at first before drilling down to the meat of the development. It does feel a little lightweight at first but if you are the one who gets bored (or even scared) with just a mention of AI, underlying Math and never thought about applicable aspect of all these terms, this book is the one to spark interest and help to believe that math is not THAT hard to learn, but most important it gives you a concept-level applicable advices when creating your ML solution with most popular tools like PowerBi and engines available in Azure cloud. I definitely recommend this book to anyone developing AI/ML solution in the cloud, anyone who collaborates with Data Scientists and feels they speak foreign language and anyone who's scared of math without a fear to see endless code examples.

Impactful decision-making using artificial intelligence with Power of Power BI
Today's hottest topic in decision-making is artificial intelligence. Many people are enthusiastic about the possibilities and insights it can give, but many don't know where to begin. This is where this book enters the picture. It explains you how to use AI in your personal decision-making process using Power BI by starting with the basics of what AI and associated technologies are. It's written so well that it feels as if the author is holding your hand and helping you through the process of going from simple but generic out-of-the-box Power BI solutions to creating and implementing custom solutions geared towards your specific business needs.
