Only for thinner wood
These are great clamps. I got these to build a smaller desk shelf. They work great for 1in boards and thinner. They take a little to get used to how they work, but they have an amazing hold.

Springs are almost too strong
These are actually more difficult to use than I expected. If you are trying to use them on 3/4"+ thick wood it is not easy to squeeze them to open sufficiently. Obviously, for the same reason, once you get them in place they hold very strongly.

Good little clamps with only a couple issues (not really a big deal though)
They are good little corner clamps. They seem to hold everything nice and tight. Only issues I have with them... the rubber feet slide off easily (dropped 1 but found it the next day). The other issue I have is that they are extremely tight to clamp 3/4" wood, either soft pine or plywood. They would be great if they had just a 1/4" more clearance on the opening. Other than that, they are good clamps!

Works pretty well.
Works pretty well. Wish it had better grip but for small projects it works well enough.

Only suitable for very small projects
These will probably work OK, with some precautions, for very small projects. There are a number of problems with these clamps. Since the spring is collapsed by hand it can only be so tight. The tension also is going to vary by the thickness of the wood; thinner pieces get a lot less tension. For most projects there is simply not enough clamping force with a clamp of this design.Suppose you were using pocket holes to attach some boards. The side pressure from driving the screws would be enough to throw the clamped surfaces slightly out of alignment. The second problem has to do with the sliding corner piece. This is extremely annoying. It makes it difficult to attach the clamp. The third problem is when you compress the clamp fully it can sometimes partially pop out of its track and when you release it, it can grab some skin on your hand. So after reading all of this if you decide to give these clamps a try anyway, make sure you use the supplied gloves. There are two better alternatives I have seen on Amazon: (1) The metal clamps that have a screw with a handle in the center that drives a right angular metal piece to securely hold the two clamped pieces in alignment and (2) right angle brackets with multiple holes and clamps that attach to the pieces that are to be clamped. There are numerous manufacturers selling both types of clamps. Here is an example for the first one:https://www.amazon.com/Woodworking-Tools-WETOLS-Corner-Clamp/dp/B091KNFNYR/ref=sr_1_6?crid=361QF90SCEFX9&keywords=corner+clamps+for+woodworking&qid=1680669224&s=hi&sprefix=corner+cl%2Ctools%2C108&sr=1-6and for the second one:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVM4XB1LWith the second clamp, make sure you get the metal ones; I don't have much confidence in the plastic ones.Bottom line, these plastic spring-loaded corner clamps are not recommended.
