I bought this so I wouldn't have to always refill a smaller pitcher. It obviously doesn't fit in the fridge which is fine, but it continually grows algae on the counter! I've cleaned it twice now with vinegar and scrubbed all the parts as well. I even made sure minimal, if any, sunlight reaches it. The vinegar makes the water taste funny for a week and then 3-4 weeks later it grows algae again, but I dont want to ruin it with bleach. I wish I could still return it. When it's clean, the water tastes great! Which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I bought this product to use at our lake house. We have an artesian well that we get our drinking water from, but I have noticed a bit of rust coloring around the pipes lately. I figured a little extra filtering would probably be beneficial. I bought this product because I wanted solution that didn't filter out all of the beneficial minerals that our bodies need. It does take a little while to filter (which is probably a GOOD thing), but once I got it completely full (overnight process) I only have to top it off occasionally. Its a great size for my family of 6 and the occasional visitor. The seller has been great, making sure that I received my filter in a timely manner, offering good tips regarding assembly and making sure all my questions are answered . I am glad that I chose this one over similar ones on the market, due to the outstanding customer service.

After my nutritionist recommended that I use filtered water, I started my search on Amazon. There were so many to choose from but I narrowed it down to the NuWater system. It arrived on time and the setup was very easy. Yes, at first the production of filtered water was slow but got up to expectation after the first day. What a wonderful surprise how good the water tasted, absolutely no after taste!! I was so impressed that I purchased another one for my mother at a discount. Also, I had submitted some questions to NuWater and received a response very quickly from George - great service too!

Water leaks in spite of having rings on both sides of the jug but else all fine, good jug quality would be great but works well

Bought this for our upcoming summer camping trip. Didn't open the box until today to get ready for the trip. Photos show the Ceramic Dome filter was broken in half, and the bottom of the 5-stage mineral filter canister was broken, and spilling sands and gravels all over inside the box. I contacted the seller, but no words back from them. Can't even return for exchange because it has passed the "Return window" with Amazon. I'm left with a brand new piece of useless junk, since I don't know which is the correct replacement parts to buy from Amazon to make this work. Just sad....

It filters well. I can't drink water from the tap. I wish the materials were of better quality. But all in all it does it's job.

The containers do not have any form of water tight seal. As the water drains from the top container, it spills from the sides, so you lose about a quarter of your water as it is transferred into the lower container. The mineral stone filter arrived broken from its base. I thought that it would still serve its purpose without issues; however, the stone just floats to the top of the water not allowing for the water to filter properly. The water also pours quickly into the lower filter, I'm assuming much faster than usual, which may contribute to the leaks.
