My Lab Cross and Cocker Spaniel Cross loved these and they are still going strong. The cocker spaniel is an aggressive chewer. It didn't splinter or come apart for either and I find it very safe and durable for them to play with. I got a large size for both and even with the cocker spaniel the larger one was perfect.

My dog is adopted and came with one of these, almost like a safety blanket. So I ordered another and he loves this one too.I now keep this for inside and the other for outside. Only problem is, is it's to realistic and it keeps getting lost! Sorry to say it has finally gone, hopefully another dog has found it and is enjoying it. It is a wonderful toy - realistic and enjoyable for all dogs.

I am not sure the exact reasons but my dog appeared to be/become allergic to this product. Each time he had it he would experience red eyes and itchy ears. Whether it contains some ingredient he is allergic to remains a bit of a mystery. The product itself however is well made and extremely durable, ideal for chewers as it does not disintegrate after 5 minutes use like most. Shame we had to discard the product due to the uncertainty of an allergy.

My brother has a 7 month old retriever who is obsessed with sticks, she brings every piece of wood she gets into the house and has even resorted to taking the branches off our hedge. I saw this and said I'd give it a go. It's amazing. She hasn't left it down since she got it. It's very strong and we don't have to worry about pieces of wood getting caught in her throat. If you have a dog that loves sticks, I would highly recommend this.

My dog likes to chew wood and this has helped with her urge to eat my table legs and skirting boards. This is the second one I've bought and they last a few months.

Ok so first of all, my dog Rosie adores the original version of this and it's never caused her any problems. I got her the BBQ version hoping for a similar reaction and... she loved it. Chewing at it all day today since it arrived. This evening though, she was sick. Twice so far and not in her normal way (normally on her rare occasions where she's sick, it's mostly bile, but this seemed to be her entire stomach contents- she's never done one like it), and it had visible bits of the stick in it. Now yes technically it could be something else, but I'm not chancing it. It's going straight in the bin. Particularly considering I recall seeing another review saying the same thing had happened to their dog. I thought maybe it was a one off or unrelated, but... perhaps not. I really think the manufacturers need to look into this.

My dogs absolutely love these. I have 2 frenchies that enjoy chewing sticks but the risk of splinters or digestive problems means I take sticks away. They chew these as vigorously as actual wood. The size and thickness works so that they can hold the toy and it lasts a while. They chew them to about 1/3 of the size and have never had any digestive or dental issues with them. I order them fairly frequently because, while they are durable, my pups enjoy them so much that they gnaw them down usually in about a month. It’s well worth replacing them monthly because it keeps them busy and entertained.

Works wonderfully for both my large dog and small dog, they’re both heavy chewers and enjoy nothing more then trying to gnaw through them!! Great for their teeth, don’t start to smell gross and haven’t caused any stomach issues

This is the most amazing thing my dog absolutely loves it. Thank you very much for creating it whoever made it.

I bought this for my 7 month old lab. He goes through a bully stick in 5-10 minutes, and a yack cheese chew in 5 days or so (just for reference). My dog loves to chew sticks and wood, to the point that it's been giving him stomach problems (I have no idea where he's been finding these things...) He's been chewing a medium sized NewHide chew for about 3 days and has hardly made a dent. He really enjoys it!The chews are exactly as represented in the picture. They appear to be made of compressed fiber, so they don't splinter at all. Definitely would recommend!
