Hope this answers you question:=> It means that the battery can't be in a sealed container, If you were to put your battery inside a capped section of pipe and either run the wires out through a plug or use an inductive coil the pipe would be sealed and would pressurize if the battery were to vent any gasses. This would be an explosion hazard. Just be cautious and let it vent!! There are ways to charge the right way:) and the wrong way :(. research how to. good luck.

Yes, it is the best way, as long as it is a 12v charger.

Q: I have a tripp-lite digital ups system # g1010usb. this was sold at costco a few years ago. is this battery a replacement for the tripp-lite rbc51?

Take it apart and remove the battery, you should be able to replace them, but may be cheaper just to replace the whole unit.

I just received mine yesterday and charge was at about 20%. It's been charging overnight and is almost at 100% now.
