fairly expensive for the amount, but does hell of a good job
fairly expensive for the amount, but does hell of a good job. Smells good, works well and not a single side effect or bad results each use.

So much better than Devacurl
My daughter's beautiful curls had been all messed up with Devacurl and we needed something better than would not be so drying and harsh on her fine, but very curly hair. This stuff was exactly what we were looking for. It doesn't weigh her hair down to the point of being disgustingly oily but it keeps her curls defined, soft, and bouncy for a few days without excessive buildup.Definitely a fan. It is pricey but you get what you pay for.

Ring tone defining crème
Cream is light weight and doesn’t make hair crunchy or sticky. I got some really great defined curls using this product. I took a pic at the end of the day before I forgot because I really liked the curls. The picture doesn’t do it justice. I had nice uniformed curls throughout. I did use hair spray and that added a bit of hardening to hair, but not this product. I typically air dry in summer and don’t bother styling unless I have plans. This was a simple apply and scrunch, I didn’t even use my diffuser. For a quick style and minimal product I’m very happy. I did use another product for hold but I could have opted to not use. Curls around my face were very prominent. I did pull hair back during day which is why some hair looks less curled and uniform.

Okay but might be heavy for fine hair
Okay, I will disclose that my body and hair are extremely complicated and don't like much, so take my review with a grain of salt. My hair tends to be very long, frizzy, and thin. It goes down past the middle of my back. I like to just scrunch and have natural curls so I don't have much work, but a lot of products are just too heavy for it. I really like the smell of this and I like the way it goes on and feels in my hands when I put it on. I noticed you don't want to use too much if you have thin hair or it might be too heavy or kind of sticky and crunchy. My favorite types of products for curls are ones that are effortless where I just put it in and let my hair air dry and don't have to mess with a diffuser, but this one it seems it would benefit by using a diffuser and scrunching. It also might be helpful if you have thin hair to put it in a spray bottle with mostly distilled water and spray it on that way which can help take away any extra crunch that you might feel. Going to keep playing with it, and see if I can figure out a happy medium with testing different ways of using it, but the really quick way didn't seem to work too well for. I didn't absolutely hate it or anything, but it wasn't a miracle product for my complicated hair.

I have curls, without crunch!
Curly girls know that it's tough to find a product that gives good looking curls. They need to be defined, not crunchy. They need to be full, not frizzy. If it also helps detangle when showering the product out, I've truly found the holy grail. Two out of three, as they say, ain't bad. This product is a cream that massages into towel-dried curls easily. While there was some initial crunch after drying that left my crown looking on the greasy side, a quick swipe with a wide-tooth comb broke it free and left it looking smooth and polished. The curls also had some crunch, which I broke up by hand because I just don't trust brushing out dry curls - the look typically resembles mild electrocution when I do so.Washing it out the next day revealed ALL the tangles in my long locks, which is disappointingOverall, this one is a better version that I'm fairly pleased with.

So soft but doesn't hold as well as I hoped
I really like this product but it is not my favorite. I like to use a product in my hair to hold my no-heat hair styles. This product is so easy to work with and my hair feels soft and not crunchy. However, I wouldn't say the hold power is amazing because in between my washes, my hair will go limp and the style doesn't hold well past a 24-hour period. All that said, I appreciate that the ingredient list is decent and the product's smell is not awful. I would not say that this is worth the money it charges, so I don't think this will be a repurchase for me.

Might be too heavy for hair on that wavy/curly line; if you are curly to coily, you'll love it
R+Co Ring Tone Utra Defining Gel Crème, 6 oz.I found this to be a little too heavy for my wavy/curly hair--it dries wavy instead of curly. (R+Co Turntable would probably be better for my hair type.) But I passed the Ring Tone on to a friend with coily hair who loved it. Moisturizes and defines curls without leaving them crunchy. They're soft, shiny and bouncy! Loved it!
