Worked as expected -- could not find these at any of the big box stores
Needed these to replace lost plastic locking nuts for a new light fixture sold by Lowes (Portfolio 4-light vanity bar). The maker of the light did not have any replacement parts so I was very happy to find these online

Plastic - cross treads
Cheap plastic rings easily cross thread.

These are not one size fits all. I have tried them on two different chandeliers. They will not screw all the way down on either to hold the glass fixture snug. I don't recommend them.
