My Only Complaint? They Don't Come In A 15" Model.
I don't dj as much as I have over the past few years, so usually, I rent speakers from the local music store. I've used EV's, JBL's (of which I've owned in the past), and even the QSC K12's. I had an event at work a few weeks ago and used that as an opportunity to give them a test run. This event was outdoors due to Covid, so let me tell you, all I heard was compliments over the sound of these speakers. I left everything set at default. I didn't even really turn them up past 50%. I had people stand right next to them and were just impressed by the quality of he audio that came out of them. It was a Christmas event, and I played Christmas music of all types for around 6 hours. These things did not disappoint to say the least. I have NEVER had anyone compliment my speakers before. Ever. These things are rock solid, well worth the money, and set a standard which is why so many mobile dj's use them. If you have the budget, put these on your short list of speaker options if you're in the market. You won't regret it.

Best industry standard speaker out there for corporate to club applications. Priced right. 5 Stars
These QSC's are great industry standard speakers. These work great in a corporate environment as well as a club environment. Indoor ballroom main sessions, break outrooms, small acoustic acts to 10 peice bands. They are convenient on the road and easy to set up. The option to switch to different sound modes makes it easy to dial in a good sound when working/playing different types of rooms. The sound modes have various selections that can be used when using as monitors snd mains. We run the seinhauser 935s microphones through these with very little processing and they sound fantastic. The handles are positioned in the correct locations to make them easy to carry. They sit on the floor as a wedge without any issues as well as on a pole with two pole holes. One for tilt and one for straight vertical. The ac power chord has a clip lock and is blue on the end to identify it belongs with the QSC. Not sure why I like that but I do. Maybe because I've been seeing fully black power cords my whole life? Cant wait to buy more.

Been using these speakers now for less than a year and totally satisfied with the performance, quality weight, durability, sound quality, and portability.

Great sound, clean and loud
I got two of these for an outdoor concert series I'm running this summer. I was a little nervous for the first one last weekend, if they'd be loud enough and still sound clear. I was more than happy with them. I was able to do the show without subs and still have plenty enough low end at a nice volume, and the people I was working for were very happy with the sound. Totally recommend.

Worked for less than a year and repair parts backordered for months
The speaker sounded great while it worked. However, it recently stopped working suddenly (no power whatsoever) and I took it to an authorized repair center almost two months ago. The power supply is shot and the repair facility has informed us that the replacement parts are "backordered" with (get this) NO ETA available. This is a new and current product in QSC's line of loudspeakers, so either QSC is a mess...or there are a lot of power supplies being blown out in K12.2s all over the world. I'm guessing it's the latter. QSC should either get these parts to their authorized repair centers immediately, or immediately replace my unit. Until then, a strong "buyer beware" from a guy that gives fair reviews.

These Speakers Light Up My Day
I have been working on picking up a set of QSC for a while now. Was looking at the Legacy K12. But since these came up, decided to go with the new speakers. I play out in football fields and inside small-to-medium sized churches with not more than five hundred people. These speakers are very good-looking and produce sound that equals, or surpasses even, the look. I remember going in a football field with about one hundred kids and deciding to only set up one speaker. It sounded so clean, thick, and crisp that I thought I heard reverb. But knew there was none on the mixer or the speaker. I then proceeded all the way to the opposite end of the football field only to be surprised by the crisp, clean, and clear sound from almost one hundred feet away.Interestingly, I did not have it cranked all the way up, but it was still powerful close to the speaker and it dropped a little about half-way through the football field and returned back to a powerful sound the farther away I got. The sound was bouncing off buildings a hundred feet away, making a beautiful reverb which was what I was hearing. My oldest daughter who sings with me described the quality of the sound like a fresh carrot snapping in the microphone. Every snap, every spurt of water, every crack whipped through the speaker in sharp detail. She felt self-conscious and uncomfortable as you could hear every nuance or crack in her voice. The horns from my keyboard sounded like they have never sounded before. What amazes me... is that I used only ONE speaker for the whole week and felt no need to take out the other one in so much that I left it home and did not look back.Inside the church building, it got even worse. Once we started singing and rehearsing before the groups came in, we did not want to stop. I literally felt like we had an expensive, top class, reverb and vocal processing effect worth thousands of dollars in our rig. Hosts and pastors screamed through the system, yet it did not flinch. Almost as if it was asking--that's all you got?I could go on and on about the speakers, but I will stop here to not be long-winded and go on to explain why I took away a star.Just let me say, I use it on the "Live Bright" EQ setting with a Beringer Five Channel mixer and it works flawlessly every time. Now, for the cons.I bought these speakers regardless of almost twice the cost in price compared to the others because of the quality of reviews that it got. And yes it delivers in that area. But I took off a star for two things.1. I still cannot understand why the deep bass function was removed. I have never heard the Legacy K12, so I am not sure how much I am missing (as these do produce reasonably well bass frequencies) but thought it should have been included.2. For the cost, the speaker is poorly packaged. I live in the Caribbean and the product has to be shipped overseas. It was simply put inside a cardboard carton with protection on the top of the speakers and on the bottom. Ninety percent of the speaker had no protection. Because of this, one of the speakers came with a dent on the grill. This speaker does not work properly. I believe it fell and hit something that caused the dent. I notice with that particular speaker when the volume is turned up, I hear something that seems like a distortion which may possibly be the grill vibrating. And when it comes out standby, I hear a static sound. The other speaker, though, works fine as I expected so I know it is because of the drop. It will be difficult and costly for me to ship it back for repairs, but it is something I am strongly considering after finishing using them this summer.I love these speakers. Yes, even the one that's bent. It's like my special needs child.
