I bought a year-old MFC-L3770CDW off Facebook Marketplace because the ad said there was something wrong with the ink. They wanted $50 but when I got there they said it wouldn't turn on so I offered them $25; they took $30. I took a chance because anyone that says there's something wrong with the "INK" on a laser printer doesn't know what they're talking about. I got it home and it turned on but the yellow toner was out. This is one of those printers that won't print when one of the toners runs out. I got this set and installed all of them, and they work just fine. The only issue is the black isn't very black; more gray than black, and there's a blurb on the display that says I'm not using authentic Brother toner, so all of it's features may not work. I'm not sure what those features are but apparently they don't work!

I WANTED TO UPDATE THIS REVIEW BECAUSE I WAS WRONG. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH E-Z UNTIL I THOUGHT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT AND RETURN PROCESS. AFTER PAYING OVER $400 FOR BROTHER INC, I FINALLY FIGURED OUT IT WAS THE BROTHER MACHINE ITSELF THAT WAS NOT TELLING ME A DIFFERENT COLOR TONER WAS OUT.I TURNED TO E-Z INC BECAUSE OF THE COST, THE GREAT PRODUCT AND THE SPEED IN SHIPPING. I MADE A MISTAKE WHEN I INDICATED THEY WERE NOT WORTHY OF A CONTINUED 5 STAR RATING. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEIR SERVICES.THE PRODUCTS ARE RELIABLE AND I WILL NOT BE RETURNING THE ONES PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED BECAUSE YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BEAT THE COST.(OLD) I've trusted E-Z ink for my brother machine and this is the first time I'm disappointed. I purchased the 5 pack in December 2022. I'm thinking I have some on deck for when I run out. I've run out and the 2 black cartridges are not compatible with my Brother machine anymore or the cartridges are empty. Because I discovered this more than 30 days after purchase, I can't get a full refund without a stocking fee of 20%.

Works well; good amount of ink in each cartridge; recommend purchasing

So far, these toner cartridges have been 100% compatible with my Brother laser printer but be aware that certain Brother firmware updates bring the chance that the cartridge chip will no longer be recognized by the printer. One option would be to swap the chip with a genuine Brother chip, but only if you planned ahead and had such a chip on hand. I've been lucky so far, with one chip compatibility issue that was resolved by replacing a nearly full cartridge with a new cartridge. Print quality is excellent with these cartridges, so they get my recommendation.

This is the second time I've ordered this brand. It is high-yield and works great! I will continue to order them and would recommend them.As always, buying from Amazon makes life easier and the products get here quickly!

I loved seeing the cheaper price for toner. As a school teacher, I am printing everyday. In addition, I am attending online school and I need to print at least 125 pages each week for reading. In the beginning, E-Z ink was perfect. I was saving money, printing, and impressed with the value I had for my money. The last 3 shipments are disappointing. I use more black toner than the other toners. Now it barely prints. I tested my printer by purchasing a Brother toner. The cost of the Brother toner is the same cost as the black and color toners from E-Z ink. The Brother toner worked but the E-Z ink continued to fail me. I thought it was a bad toner and chalked it up to I still have the color toners. Alas, this is an end to E-Z ink and I. Back to Brother because I can't deal with disappointment.

I got these E-Z Ink TN227 printer cartridges to use with my Brother HL-L3230CDW printer.I was a little nervous about using third-party toner, but thought it was worth a shot considering the price difference between these and the official Brother OEM ones.I've been using these E-Z Ink toner cartridges for a few months now, and am happy to report that they seem to work just as well as the originals.My printer didn't have any trouble recognizing them, and the print quality looks identical to me.I have no complaints at all.Only time will tell if these toner cartridges last as long as the official Brother ones do, but even if they don't they were definitely still worth the money.

okay for the money.

I bought these cartridges. Worked OK for a few prints. Left it for a few weeks as I have another printer for draft work. Tried to print again, printer said I should place cartridges back into the printer... but they were in the printer. Checked online and said that printer does not recognize chips on cartridges. Contacted seller. They said too bad so sad, you are a few days outside the return date. BUT THE PRODUCT IS NEW AND DOES NOT WORK! Sorry Charlie.

Print quality and quality is not as good. Light print. These are a great price but, not for business. Home use they would be great!

This product was defective and would not work in the Brother printer that it was rated for. Seller would not take responsibility for the defective cartridges since it was past the 30 days. Will not order from them again.
