The media could not be loaded.  Perfect! I am from India and we love our spices, we get customized mixers and blenders to prepare our food in India. But I had a hard time finding one here. My friend suggested this blender and yes it is perfect. It will not start instantly as soon as you plug it in like other blenders which always scares me. This blender has a button to start and stop, making it safe to use. You can directly use the container to drink off your smoothies or juices. I have used blending blades for making smoothies, and juice with ice cubes. used grinding blades to ground coconut, peanuts, and lentils and it works perfectly for everything. It is totally worth the money as it comes with 6 containers which are awesome with individual lids. It is also a space saver with lightweight, you can easily carry it and place it anywhere in your kitchen. The containers are very easy to clean.I would highly recommend this blender for everyone who wants to have customized flavored drinks in their individual fancy cups. This is totally worth the money!!.

My husband bought us one of these back in 2009 and I used it religiously almost daily for 6 years. Even now the original base is going strong, and I have 3 of the cups. But the cups wear out, and I lose a few of the lids. Just regular use and leaving lids in cars/gym etc. Dropped one cup on the floor too SO I bought another, and I'm just as happy!This set just cannot be beat for the price. As much as I'd love a nutribullet etc I don't see the point when this MaxiMatic has more stuff for a much lower price. And honestly I think the cups/lids are better designed.I use this at least 4x a week for post workout shakes. Sometimes just with protein powder, but most often with a banana, coconut water and frozen blueberries. It says not to use it with ice and it definitely does struggle with big frozen fruits (big strawberries) but smaller fruits like blueberries or chunks of fruit have been fine! I have also used it with crushed ice and it's fine too.Another use I found for these is making my own salad dressings. The little cup is perfect for that! Oh and chopping nuts too! Great for adding chopped nuts to cereal etc. I will say I've only used the flat blade once in 6 years and not really sure what that's for? lol. The cross blade attachment works great for everything!Honestly I've been using this brand since 2009 and never had a problem. I see from the reviews a few others have had issues but hands down this has been the best blender I've had. Definitely recommend. Plus PRIME shipping makes returns easy!

I’ve replaced this blender twice within the last four months. The first lasted about a week before the motor died, and the second made it about 3.5 months. What kind of smoothie blender can’t blend frozen fruits? Or ice? Or anything?

Initially, I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, who likes making protein drinks but hates cleaning a big blender. I opted for this one because of the entry level price. Some of the other brands are a lot more expensive. Anyhow, he absolutely loves this! Reliable. Plenty of cups. Easy clean up.We even took this on a road trip because it is portable and easy to set up in a motel.UPDATE 4 months later...I purchased one for my best friend AND one for myself. This is a GREAT little machine. I was wary of the stemmed cups but they are sturdy and don't rock around in the cupholder of my car. I poke a bendable straw through the lid. The silver insulation keeps my fingers from getting too cold when I make an icy drink!At first mine was overly stiff when clamping it in and out of the base. HOWEVER, after using it a few more times, I found everything 'seated' fine after breaking it in.I got experimental and tried using this machine to blend kale and swiss chard, along with apple juice, yogurt, and blueberries... The blades were plenty sharp enough to liquify the ingredients. When making fruit smoothies, try freezing fresh fruit and use it instead of ice cubes.Speaking on behalf of myself and two friends, we use our machines daily and have experienced NO maintenance or other issues. All 3 of us love our Elite blenders :-)

The "drink lids" are kind a joke. Placement of the drinking spout is far from optimal.

I drink protein shakes several times a week as part of my diet routine. Handles broken ice cubes and small pieces of frozen fruit very quickly. Not recommended for breaking large ice cubes, or large pieces of frozen fruit. Just dice your fruit before freezing. I have a crushed ice setting on my ice dispenser, so I dropped in an inch or so of crushed ice in the bottom of the cup, poured in almond milk to about one and a half inches from the top, put in the protein mix and a teaspoon of sugar-free chocolate pudding mix. You want to leave about one half to three quarters of an inch of room in the cup to the top. Screw on the blender blade top, pop it on the motor. pulse it 5 seconds about 3 or 4 times until the ice pulverizes, then give it a 20 second cycle, Take it out of the motor, replace the blades with the provided lid, drop in a straw and enjoy. (The opening in the lids provided is a little small to drink from, but can be done. I prefer to use a straw anyway). In my opinion, It's well worth the money and very simple to clean up. My wife and adult son also used it, and we were all impressed by the quality for the price. Everyone can make up their own flavor in their individual cup, then just rinse the blade under the faucet, and screw it on the next cup and pop it on the motor. When we use the big blender, we all have to agree on a certain flavor if we are doing a batch of 3 shakes at once. Now we can fix our own individual drink flavors and blend them, by just rinsing the blade between shakes. Quick, convenient, and gets you out the door in the morning in a flash, with a nutritious shake under your belt. It's a cool kitchen gadget! I'm buying more for gifts!

Fue un regalo para mi abuela y les encanto en mi familia, ahora tambien le pedi uno a mi madre y quedo encantada. Es un buen producto y funciona como debe de ser, solamente tiene el detalle que es un poquito duro al principio, por lo que quitar y poner los envases es un poco complicado. Con el uso, se vuelve mas facil usarlo.

Would have preferred to have a pulse feature like a magic bullet. Having said that, this works great. It's a bit loud, but works as advertised.
