Easy to put together.
Very nice sand box. Has a canopy on it which can block the sun out and lower when not in use to keep the rain out.

it's so cute
my 19 month old and my other 7 kids love love love this and it's so cute. the instructions were not so good and did not explain things to well so it was a guessing game on alot of it but common sense of you got that you won't have a problem and it took about 7 bags of sand and could use little more but i have a pool with sand around it as well so it don't look so off

Hinges
The hinges are fragile where the seat is, so make sure your toddler doesn’t bend the seat for it to break. Otherwise it didn’t take long to put together. We used a power drill instead of the tools they gave us with the set which made it faster to set up. it looks good and a decent size for my son. I also do wish the wood was stronger but it is what it is.

Second one I've bought!
I got this for my toddler for a birthday gift and quickly went to buy another! It's great! It was a fairly easy install; I do recommend getting a drill and not trying to do it all by hand. I did also choose to staple the bottom mat that holds the sand in place. The package has small tack nails for this and I thought staples in addition to these would hold better over time. But I love that the top closes and folds out into chairs and the canopy top can be lowered to keep out prying animals or for weather purposes. After built it has a sturdy frame.

Not meant for longevity
Update: after a month I can say I would NEVER buy this item again. It has literally almost fallen apart and my grandbaby has only been in it a few times. The top does not stay screwed tight so will randomly slide down, even when someone is inside of it. I weatherproof it and even with doing that the wood is splintering and the seat has came off one side. This was a total waste of money and I now need to find another sandbox.I purchased this sandbox prior to doing some research so I take some responsibility on a not so great purchase. Right out of the box you can feel how dry and brittle the wood feels (so brittle as one pice snapped in my hand with very mininal effort - this was fixed with wood glue and screwed down in place later) I knew it was not weather treated so I went to look at reviews which led me to the store to buy a waterproofing stain. Considering certain pieces are already assembled it is very hard to get in-between to make sure all got coated well. Once assembled it felt very flimsy and still only took one person to move to its location fully assembled. The liner for the bottom and the tarp for the top are made of the same material and I feel is ok but will not hold up to weather for long.So in the end I would have sent this product back but I was in a time crunch so kept it, I do not feel it will last long out in the weather, and the materials are just not great.

Kids love it!
It was pretty easy to put together. The instructions could have been more detailed. Good quality for the price.

Sandbox
Bought this for my great grand babies 2nd birthday. Started putting it together and the instructions weren't very clear we really struggled with it but the worst part was the boards were cut unevenly. They were warped and so thin that when the screws went in the boards cracked. We have several that had some pretty large cracks in them. The bottom didn't have enough tacks to hold the sides up good and there was pine sap all over the top. Made it look nasty. It was very disappointing. Especially for the price we paid. There was also sap on several boards. They had to be cleaned to keep the baby from getting it all over him.

Wont las long outdoors unfortunatlly, wrong parts for assembly , No caps for exposed screws
The wood included with this kit is not going to last outdoors without a urethane or sealant applied to the pieces, Don't be surprised when they start to discolor and mold if you don't do this. The 4 bolts used to secure the upright canopy to the side of the box leaves an exposed screw sticking out the side that my kid managed to cut his foot on. If you can get a cap from your local hardware store to protect the kids from the 4 bolts that protrude out the side. The canopy has already faded in color being out in the sun and the wood is starting to change colors, I plan on sealing with a Urethane next weekend. My kit came with a screw bag labeled "4" which was supposed to be used for the strips to secure the canopy to the top frame.. as you can see in the image it was a thread into the wood and would not hold up. I'm assuming they sent the wrong size screw with my kit as it seems it should have been twice as long . Had to get some from the hardware store to complete. Overall this is not made for outside use if you expect it to last. Will need additional hardware and treatment for outdoor use. Pay a little extra for one that comes with treated or sealed wood. Not worth the hassle.
