The Book of Romans: Bible-Study Journal

The journal is beautifully laid out. Love the convenience of having the Study bound and all in one place. I was disappointed the included scripture was in KJV. I read NIV and would have liked to see in the description of the product that KJV is used. Maybe two versions in future prints?

LOVE this particular study on Romans by Darlene Schacht! The perfect balance of factual thought provoking questions along with (my fave!) application questions as well as the ever important encouragement to "do", not just "read". I really like the beautifully designed pages that can be colored. Love, love, love the fact that the book is kept quite affordable! I was able to recommend it to many more friends due to its affordability. The only thing I would change, and this is obviously just a personal preference would be to have the Scripture in NIV or NASB.

Currently doing study with the author online thru her website. Beautifully illustrated in depth study of God's Word. Author offers additional commentary thru her website and skillfully mines the nuggets of gold from His precious word. Appreciate keeping true to KJV.

I love this study as it is an actual study of a book of the Bible and not what an author thinks. That said, this author has recently quoted a “pastor” (not the first time) that I was actually surprised and disappointed to see her quote. That said, I did just purchase and receive her study of the feasts and look forward to that, but will more than likely not be doing any others.

As always, Darlene has made a great study in Romans. Romans is a deep book with much food for thought and some "touchy" issues.I love the larger lettering and format of the book so it's easier for those of us with vision problems to read. There is plenty of space to write answers.And I've recently found how wonderful it is to color after studying a passage as it helps me focus on what I've just studied. Lots of opportunity for that in this book!

Larger than I expected but I love it! Enjoying the study but wish it was spiral or at the very least laid flat, I am one of those people that want notebooks or studies to lay completely flat when opened. But it is a really nice design, large, and very good!

Each chapter of Romans includes enough room to doodle, journal and take notes. There are are also graphics to color. The pages are a nice heavy paper... Following the text of each chapter you will find thoughful questions to answer as well. **BONUS: This journaling book has a Facebook discussion group for added depth.

It’s a huge book.. kind of reminds me of a coloring book. The questions are kind of easy to me but maybe it’d be better for a group study. Cute illustrations.
