A nice unit at a terrific price. Heats well, cools well. Installation was trivial. I saw a review that complained that it was difficult to install the vent, and cannot imagine what the writer was complaining about -- it was as easy as it possibly could be, and as easy as any other vented air conditioner I have ever seen, and I have owned four of this kind of A/C-heater over the years. The controls are simple, the settings are accurate, and it heats and cools nicely. I would have given it five stars, except that it is a little loud, although not unbearably so.After using this in my basement office throughout a long, cold, Maine winter, I am more impressed than other. Although the heater seems to use heat-pump technology, which means that it produces air that is not extremely hot, it has kept my 12'x20' office warm and toasty without a noticeable impact on my electric bill. I am quite pleased.

Doesn't heat as well as I had hoped. Won't go above 70 degrees F in a 150 sf space. Haven't had a chance to try it in summer heat.

Bought this for my daughter. She is crazy about it. Loves the fact that an appliance with such a small footprint will cool her apartment and heat it. I would recommend this for students, apartment dwellers, and others who need additional climate control.

This is such a great unit very powerful in my very large bedroom I love it keeps the expensive central air off plus it has a heater for the winter! Very happy!

Room is under 250 sq ft and it won't maintain heat

The window kit was not complete and not very sturdy
