Seasonal Hand Knitted Designs for 18" Dolls: Spring/Summer Collection

I was looking for something different to knit and I found it with this great book. The patterns are easy enough and the designs are beautiful. I really love the fact that the yarn used is easy to find and not expensive and yet the sweaters, hats and other items are lovely when finished. The book is filled with really nice patters. I think any little girl (or big girl for that matter) with an 18 inch doll would love the finished products in this book.

The patterns are wonderful and the directions are clear and concise. The items are interchangeable so it gives many different ways to mix-and-match. The yarns used are readily available in local stores and are reasonably priced. Sized for the popular American Girl doll, the models are the Gotz dolls who are adorable. The styles are modern with many color suggestions..

I am addicted. But not sure how the top of the hood on Charter sweater should be seamed. Help please.

Beautiful patterns and so easy and fun to knit! I highly recommend this one! I will make more than one of these several times and plan on buying her other book as soon as I can!

I have the fall/winter collection and was eagerly waiting for this to become available. The wait was worth it! Stylish clothing for my 18" dolls. The photos are beautiful and it will challenge my knitting skill. 100% satisfied.

I have read most of the patterns. They look to be very clear and easy to follow. I have not had time to knit them but have ordered all the yarn.

The instructions are written out line by line and easy to follow. Made with ease of dressing in mind. I had to adjust needle size and tension to get perfect fit. 👍

I have just completed the fishermans rib sweater and I'm halfway through the matching hat. I'm not a very experienced knitter and I found the line-by-line instructions great. The layout is also very good for old eyes: plenty of line spacing and headings in bold type. I have purchased her other book on the strength of the excellence of this one.

I made several of the outfits for my grand-daughter's doll for Christmas. I was delighted with the way they all turned out so will be making some more items in the future.

This is my 2nd book of patterns from Deborah Patterson. I prefer the Calendar Kidz, but this is another great book. Once you've worked out how to follow the patterns they are very easy to complete.
