I've used a bunch of different brands over the years for various projects, all are very similar - some with more metal some with more plastic some mostly metal some mostly all plastic. These hold my shoplights just as safely as the more expensive ones, and are ALMOST* identical to ones which were $5 each. These aren't for major weight, and I wouldnt necessarily trust it for 150lbs but I feel very comfortable with mine holding 20lbs each

These hangers are PERFECT for my t5 by 4 bulb light system. I have a similar pulley on my t8x 2 bulb, but didn't trust them for my big light, as it's fairly heavy, and when your pulling them up and down, it creates excess force on the hanging system. These hangers are PerFECt! And they're are great for micro adjustments as the plants grow. As my grow room expands, I plan on getting more lights, and these would easily hold 6 light t5 system. I LOVE they're made in US,(at least the ad says they are) the other (cheap) brand is made in china. I will definitely use these on my next big light. I highly recommend this pulley system for your lighting set up, big or small. These are a bit more heavy duty than the other brand of pulleys, and adjust easily (even for little me with arthritic hands) I have 3 different ones, and these are the best quality.

These are good hangers and they work very good, are inexpensive...I ordered another pair for another grow light I just bought..Didn't see the need for any that cost more as the are smooth and click lock into place when lifting light from ceiling...Would recommend..

I use these to hang heat lights and UVB lights for my turtle enclosures and they work great!! Easily move up or down, I haven't had any problems at all. I am only using them to support less than 5 lbs, so I don't know how heavy duty they are, but they have no issues holding a standard light enclosure with bulbs. I have purchase two different sets and both of them are great and I'm sure they will hold up for a long time.

Makes it easy to raise grow lights or anything that isn't too heavy that needs adjusting.The cord can get quite long and you may want to get a twist tie or something so it isn't just hanging in your way.

This is a very inexpensive way to hang and adjust grow lights. The cords and the mechanism seem heavy duty, I think an adult could swing from them and not break the cord so a grow light won't be a problem.

I use these things to hold up a banner at the farmer's market I work at. Changed. My. Life. They are so easy to use and I do not have to stress about tieing knots or cutting rope to length. Amazeballs!

Took me awhile to figure out how it is supposed to work. My fault, not the product. They work really well and hold the heavy shop light fixtures I'm using for my plants. Adjustments are super quick and easy.
