Good for parents and kids
Simple to read and understand but also informational. Something even my 13 year old son can read for himself but I can benefit from a parent.

Exceeded my hopes!
I was cautiously optimistic about this book. I excpected my son and I to read this book together while he complained that it bored him to tears. The very first night we read he stopped mid-paragraph to ask questions and discuss what we had read. I was thrilled! He was open and talking - something I don't get very often. I felt like he was beginning to believe that he wasn't the only kid around dealing with this same struggle. This book is a great tool. I believe that it highlights strategies for change. What I find most helpful is that reading the material means that it is coming from another source other than Mom/Dad. This seems to make it easier to accept and discuss. He seems more willing to try things out that have been suggested in the book.

Knowing you're not Alone!
This is a good book for someone who has been recently diagnosed and it's maybe unaware of various therapies, laws, assistance, medications, and how important family support is. All of the above combine a unique path of existence for the person with the diagnosis and how to live with and navigate their lives having the diagnosis of ADD/ADHD.

She was very happy when she got it
My daughter-n-law requested this book for Christmas. She was very happy when she got it. She is a psychologist and her main goal is to help children. I feel if she wanted it then it must be an awesome book for any parent.

Personal touch for ADHD
Great book to read with a child. Explains ADHD in a way that can lead to good conversation and answers questions in a more personal way.

Great to help out your ADHD child
This was just what I needed for my ADHD daughter. We read it with her. It has helped her and us get a better grasp on what we need to do. I love how this is made to read to your child.

checking this out for my 8 yr old daughter recently diagnosed with adhd. Looks good, could do with more whiz presentation to match the words, to catch her attention :) inside is somewhat bleak visually, however you can also say that it is "calm" and "clear" so perhaps she will be able to focus long enough to benefit from the book's wizdom because of this. (whiz gets her motivation and excitement and buy-in though).
