Better then I even knew!!!!OK 1st thing when you get it plug it into usb charger provided. Red when charging Blue when fully charged. Then gently remove magnetic piece from back... do NOT pull sticker off yet. Where you see black underneath sticker that is magnetic strip so it will pop right off. Once popped off go hang sticker in desired location. Good to do that while it is charging so it has time to set. When I saw this I thought how am I supost to charge it if it has to stick to one place BUT that is how the sticker sticks to one place BUT then you just can pop it on and off sticker.It has 3 settings off, auto and always on. It is Super Bright. Totally Recommend! And since it is easily detachable and has always on setting when ever you need it you can also use as a flashlight on occasion.
