KIT CARBURETOR TILLOTSON 3644 Replaces RK-23HS

The good:All the parts included seem to be good quality.Most of the parts were direct replacements for aprts on my HS21D carb.The bad:The small welch plug was not the right size for my carburetor. Included plug was 3/8", needed 7/32".Other thoughts:Everything else fit correctly and installed smoothly, so I won't fault this kit too heavily. I ordered a small sack full of 55-332 Oregon plugs (7/32"), so I won't have to worry about them for a while.

I used this gasket kit on a Tillotson carb on my old 266SE. The kit fit perfect but thats the only good thing about it. Today, about a week later I went to tune the saw and it wouldn't start. Opened the carb back up to find that the gasket was already degrading and the carb screen was full of the gasket material. Also, the small aluminum plate would not remain in place and became lodged under the pin spring and ran on the saw on full fuel constantly. Not worth the cost savings AT ALL.

This kit has ALL the parts you need to rebuild the Tillotson carb that it is designed for. My chainsaw is a Jonsereds 621. The carb kit was correct, but it did not fix the poor running problem I have with my saw.
