The FREDBECK barn door kit comes complete with all the hardware and the door itself. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and all the door pieces are precision cut and routed for tongue and groove assembly. The door is wonderfully free of MDF, which is the usual material on many of these door kits. All solid real wood boards prestained to a dark brown and individually wrapped to protect the finish. The matte black hardware completes the rustic look, with quarter inch iron hangers and track, as well as all the fasteners you need. An easy DIY kit of quality material.

The doors came well packed and protected. They were easy to assemble with clear directions ( witch isn’t always the case) . They stained up really beautifully. It’s best to buy different bottom runners for stability

We love these barn doors and may get another set for our other closet. After putting them together, we stained them and burned them with the weed burner "thing" until we achieved the rustic look. They were not too hard to assemble and all of the boards were nicely labeled. Getting them mounted at the proper height was the biggest struggle, but that was likely because we were not experienced in hanging doors.

We purchased these to replace traditional doors on our master bedroom closets in order to save space. While they went together pretty easily, a couple of the T&G didn’t fit perfectly due to warping of the pieces. I would be ready with clamps to remedy this problem. I was not. That said, wood glue is likewise not in the instructions, but something I found to be essential to keep those doors from being unnecessarily noisy. You will also need two people or a vice to assemble these.

Great door once installed. Some parts were not included however.
