No weird vignetting, indispensable tool
I like to shoot as open as possible in bright sunlight so on a DSLR you need ND filters. Having them all in one variable filter is great. Previous ones I bought had a weird 'X' vignette when closed all the way down but this one doesn't, I believe it's a new feature so make sure you get this model. Very happy.

Nice and sturdy ND Filter
Great when its an extremely bright day really helps to clear the image and darken it.It comes in a protective case and good packaging. The grip on the sides of the filter is great and made of good quality material. Its adjustable and works well when adjusting.I use my black mist filter more but this one is very handy as well.DONT make the mistake I made and buy one that fits one your lenses with a small diameter, make sure you buy the one that fits your largest lens and you can use step up rings with your smaller lenses in order to save money. I bought this one for my RF 50mm lens and its tiny and wont fit my other lenses.

No X!
I needed a new ND filter and after much research I decided this was the one! The reviews were mostly favourable and I wasn’t seeing a whole load of “stuck on lens” comments, although for those that have got filters stuck I assume they’ve tightened them up way more than they should have! The lens comes in a plastic box unlike its larger siblings which come in a faux leather case that feels a lot nicer, so that’s a minor downside, if you don’t pay attention you could potentially open and have the filter fall to the ground, just be careful and don’t get distracted while opening! In practice it works fantastically well, the movement through the ND range feels very smooth and feels like you’re moving something that is well engineered, and crucially there’s no X like you can get with some filters.I’ve used it in winter sunshine and have had no issues, the range of ND values has been sufficient, it might be interesting to see how it fares in the blazing summer sun, but I’m a happy customer with it currently. As with all things optical, it’s not cheap but it’s also not outrageously priced, a little cheaper and it would be firmly into the bargain category but I think it’s slightly too high, so it’s a neutral feeling on value for me.That said, I bought a larger one for my 78mm lens based on how good this one felt and spoiler alert, the 78mm is just as good! I may just buy some adaptors in the future so I can use a larger filter on a smaller lens and then have everything covered with single purchases, but for the moment this will do!

A solid product for video work
I bought this variable ND solely for the purpose of shooting video on a mirrorless camera. The outcome I was seeking was to keep my lens aperture wide open and use the ND filter to control my exposure. This enabled me to shoot at 24 FPS, 1/48 for a cinematic look in variable light and without needing to adjust the lens aperture. I am very satisfied with the results. The filter is well made and came supplied well packaged and with a good container. The only thing I would have liked is for my lens cap to have fitted the filter. Unfortunately the diameter of the ND filter is slightly larger than the lens diameter. It’s a minor con for me and would not stop me recommending this product.

Variable ND and Tripod review
Smooth action. Slim design. No dread X that you get with some variable ND

Gratamente sorprendido
100% recomendable.
