Sad bc they are pretty but dysfunctional
Dislike. As above reviews mention, the thinner globes-you can’t even get water into them no matter what you do. An air bubble in the tubes prevents water from entering globe area. All the stems on the globes clog with soil no matter how you insert into plant-I’ve been going in at an angle and straight in. When they clog, it doesn’t allow water to seep out to moisturize plants. I have tried all globes in all different plants of all sizes, nothing helps. So I have these pretty glass globes that are useless and taking up space. Wouldn’t purchase again and should have paid more attention to above negative reviews. Sad because they are so pretty and cute but dysfunctional.

Work great!
I put two of these in my potted plant and it kept them watered at just the right pace--not over- or under-watered. This is a plant that gets thirsty really quickly and then it just wilts all of a sudden in a highly melodramatic way (I probably need to repot it, actually!). So these are a real help! No more wilting! The plant takes in water at its own speed (not by my erratic dowsing followed by a week of forgetfulness), and it's getting all kinds of new leaves and has never been so vibrant!

Openings are too big to be functional.
I took a risk, hoping I'd get a good batch, because these were the only mini globes I could find that might fit my 4-inch pots. As other people have noted, the openings on 3 of the 4 globes I received are way too big to be functional. I started my return process 5 minutes after opening the box and trying them. I'll be trying some Blumat watering stakes instead to see if I fare any better.

Good product, good customer service.
Perfect for small and medium size planters. When I received these, one of the holes on the stem of the globe was to small, barely got water in it. I messaged the seller and they sent me new ones. It was handled really well. Came with a little straw cleaner to get dirt out of stem. I never do that with any of my watering globes. There is going to be dirt in the stem, you are jabbing it into a pot of dirt, that's going to happen. The dirt won't stop water from coming out. As the soil dries it will suck the water/moisture from the globe through the dirt stuck in the stem, it will be fine. Fill them at an angle so air can escape the globe as water goes in, insert at an angle so air can go in as water comes out.

Do not recommend.
Update: There is only one remaining from this order. All others have broken on visible fault lines in the glass. I would not recommend these. Only own them for 4 months and 1/4 remains usable. These arrived in good condition. My wife took a couple to work to keep her office plants alive over the long holiday weekend. The other two were used here at home. Last night I noticed one was empty and upon further examination I found a crack about half way around. When I pulled it out of the dirt it broke. The other one here at the house looks ok. My wife says she can not see any noticeable cracks on the ones she took to work.We have only had these for about a week and this one broke on its first use. I'm not sure if it was already cracked from delivery or from our use. I can say that we have owned similarly fragile items for years including glass ornaments so I am confident that care was exercised when handling these. Just be aware they are super fragile and check them carefully upon arrival. It should be noted that there is a very noticeable seam on each one and it even disupts the color pattern.

Good for small indoor plants that have shallow roots
These are small glass globes I use in my indoor plants. I would have given this 5 stars except 2 of the 4 had much narrower stems than the others. I would have liked all 4 to be the same, slightly wider stems. The narrower stems released the water much slower, which might suit some people. When I purchased, I don't remember seeing that there were two size stems, but I probably would have purchased these anyway as I have been looking for glass globes for a while.

These seem to work for my houseplants and they are pretty
I was concerned by some of the other reviews but the ones I got are easy enough to fill. I mean, you have to angle it just so under the faucet, or you have to submerge them, but it's not that hard. I use these all the time now.

Plant Saver
I happen to be a real plant lover. I love having them around. When I started using these bulbs my plants flourished and I didn’t have to worry whether the plant needed water. These release water when the plant needs it. I have them, even larger ones, in every plant in my house. I spend money on your plants, these will help you save them.

Perfect for small pots! Requires some maintenence
Why we love it:These are really small, which is wonderful for our two small pots of ivy. The other "small" versions of these globes would make the pots tip. The beauty of watering globes is that plants can drink the water at their own pace - one of our ivy plants go through water twice as fast as the other. Our indoor rosemary drinks water super fast, and our indoor thyme and basil drink very slowly. So we feel confident that nothing is over or under watered and all our plants are thriving. They're great when we're away on vacation for 2-3 weeks as well. The faster drinking plants may need to be refilled while we're away, but we have a cat sitter that does that. The slower drinking plants are fine until we get back. If you have plants that drink a lot of water or bigger pots, I would recommend a larger size than these. How we use them:We pour water into a watering pot, then mix in a liquid fertilizer, and fill the globe. We also give the plant a good heavy watering before we put the bulbs which buys us more time before we need to refill them.A little bit of work: In a newly potted plant it can be a bit hard to get it to sink and hold into the dirt properly as the soil is so loose, but as the soil settles in that's not a problem anymore. It's a little bit of work to refill these: you have to dig the dirt out of the bottom of the nozzle each time (we use a bamboo skewer). Because we add fertilizer to the water, sometimes algae grows in the bulb - so about once a year we clean them out with hot water and vinegar and give it a really good rinse.

Just the right amount of water for my plant babies 🌿☺️
I'm very happy with this purchase, and I may end up purchasing more. All bulbs came intact and were wrapped in styrofoam, wrapped in a cardboard box. The holes at the bottom of the neck on the bulb are sufficiently wide and can be easily refilled with water. I was worried about this based off of others' reviews but I've had no issues with the bulbs I've received. I've attached pictures to help other decide if these bulbs will fit their needs. So far, I have put the bulbs into several small plants I have around home and they are watering my plants favourably. They have held their water without water-boarding my plants to death. They water at a very slow rate!! Thankfully. This is just what I needed! I love having a lot of plants around my home but I don't like having to water so frequently. This is going to save me a lot of headache! My plants will get just the amount of water that they want. And I love that these bulbs are smaller than the original. I have the original size in a Pothos plant years ago and it kept that plant quite content. Happy to have more of these!I hope this review and pictures were helpful in deciding whether these are right for you and your plants 😅✌🏼🌿

Plants have improved dramatically
The original purpose of purchasing these bright beautiful bulbs was to ensure that our plants got enough water while we were on vacation. These are now in every plant we own because our plants look so much healthier and alive than they have when we water them ourselves. Not only do they ensure that your plants get enough water, but they look great! The colours are so vibrant that they add so much color to a basic green plant. The glass seems to be of high quality and they are also easy to clean. Each package comes with a little brush to clean out the dirt that builds up in the bulb.Every plant is different so some will drink slowly, some will drink fast, so be sure to check the water levels of the bulbs maybe once every two days. You will definitely notice a difference in your plants with these watering bulbs :)I plan to order some more when I get some more plants.

Good quality products, nicely packaged, but smaller than expected
Even though the globes were smaller than I expected, they arrived with no broken ones, and served the purpose quite well. Watch out though when you fill them because the opening is quite narrow - do it over a sink or something. I use filtered water for my plants so if you do the same, have a funnel or be prepared to pour very slowly because of that narrow opening (so as not to lose precious water). The globes, once inserted in the soil, function like a dream though.

Overall a good product
I bought a similar product before from a different company and was very happy. So I wanted to give these slightly larger watering plant bulbs a try. The pros: each bulb has a different size flute so that it benefits different size plants, which is great. The yellow is the largest, so I placed in my largest plant and it worked really well. Pro: the bulbs are all different colours, depending on size. Pro: the bulbs are good quality glass and very attractive. Con: unfortunately, the smallest bulb (blue), arrived damaged so it does not work. I needed it for my smallest plant and couldn't use it. So, I was not 100% satisfied with my purchase. This is a good overall product and had the smallest watering bulb not been damaged, I would have given it 5 stars.
