I bought this for my wife for her birthday, but went a weight above the recommended one. This blanket is absolutely amazing!Pros:-My wife loves it and sleeps so much better, improving her quality of life.-This is the only blanket that will 100% shut up my wife's neurotic freaking Chihuahua, which improves his chances at having a quality life.-My wife doesn't steal the comforter anymore, which means I have a better night's sleep and don't have to leave her.-It puts my wife to sleep so well that she doesn't mind if it's a little warm, so she backs off the thermostat, you Dad's know what I'm talking about!-She once laid it over me when i was hungover from drinking entirely too much with my brother, and it let me dig in for a good coma while my body tried to figure out what happened and why I did that to myself.Cons:-Having to clean and jerk this thing overhead so I can backload it to carry ANYWHERE she wants it, downstairs, upstairs, to the car for vacation.Bottom line, men. Get this for your wife to save your marriage and sanity.

I have wanted a weighted blanket for ages and initially bought one from another seller without cover which was OK but I was concerned about having to clean it if something got spilled on it. Tried to find a cover for it but they were expensive on their own so I decided to buy one with cover.....generally found that blanket with covers were also quite pricey until I found this one. I am SO happy with this purchase! The cover is ridiculously soft and snuggly and the weight is perfect! I sleep so much better with this and will probably buy another smaller one to use on the sofa. It takes a bit of getting used to but if you share a bed with a duvet hog, get one of these! I also suffer from night sweats but despite the weight & material of this blanket, I don't seem to have that problem anymore! Best purchase of 2022!

* I don’t like writing really bad reviews, but given their non-existent customer service, I guess I have to.While comfortable and I guess good, this blanket lasted me just over a month. The material that creates the weight to the blanket, got loose and shifted to one side of the blanket; clumping up. If I picked it up, it would go to whatever side was down - gravity.I figured I got a lemon and this is where the problem lies for me. I’ve called and left voice mail messages and emailed the company and have never received any response. They supposed have 100% satisfactory guarantee - but clearly that’s not true.I give the benefit of the doubt that if a product didn’t work out that it’s not to say it’s a terrible product - mishaps and anomalies happen - but when a business is charging $125 for a blanket that lasts a month and NO ONE will return any communication then there is a problem. And would warn others to not waste their money.

I bought this on recommendation from a friend. I suffer with fibromyalgia and arthritis and my husband has arthritis too. Thought I would give it a try as our sleep is awful. First couple of night felt strange and heavy but after you are used to it you don’t notice the weight. It’s warm and snuggly and I’m so glad I purchased it. Only down side is you can’t get a spare cover from the retailer. The beads do move to edges and corners but I just give a shake like you would a duvet and they settle down again. I have recommended this to a couple of friends.

It's heavy when you try pick it up but when u put it on top it's kinda spread this glass filling and you ended up with empty pockets with filling on the bottom of them, like the pockets too big or smth.I tried to fold it in half and it felt much better.Anyway it is not "hug" your body it's actually standing with gaps around.Will return, unfortunately.May be would try smaller size with same weight.
