So much better than my heating pad
I’ve read that the near-infrared (NIR) rays of the sun are the most beneficial for health and healing. This lamp delivers them to any body part at any intensity you need. The adjustment range is continuous and I’ve never needed it at more than 3/4 strength, even to penetrate through clothes. The support pole slides up and down, and the head holds any snake-like position so you can focus on any part of the body whether sitting, standing, or laying down. The bulb is replaceable, so no issue if it ever fails. The penetrating warmth from the NIR light stays with me after I turn it off. My favorite use is on my lower back when I’m standing at the computer. I don’t want to turn it off, but follow the recommendation of a 30 minute maximum session. I would definitely recommend this for any injury or condition that responds to warmth or red light.

Red lamp
Haven’t owned it long enough to say whether it has worked for me.

So sleek
Very sleek design. I use it as a heat lamp in the bathroom but not quite sure if it’s working as anyone else would intend- but it does work well for the purpose we are using it for!

Use of the infrared light
I had to fill the base of the stand for this product with sand and it’s cheaply made. I won’t purchase this product again, nor recommend it to any of my friends.

Disappointed.
Lasted 5 weeks then it stopped. Had to prop it up to used it.

Simple to assemble and get started with
The media could not be loaded. Update: my friend with significant joint and leg pain (last photo) has been using this for a couple days. He said he has noticed a pretty decent difference in the level of pain, and his muscles feel looser. He has had positive feedback for me to this point and will let me know long term improvements, if anySo far I really like this product, although you have to put it together yourself. It is metal and plastic so it isn’t the most solid construction, but it does seem OK for just home use. I’m not sure I would put it anywhere commercial. The instructions were pretty clear on the assembly and I did not have any problems putting it together, it took me about five to maximum 10 minutes including filling the base. . So far it operates quite easily. The dial knob is simple to use. The lamp does heat up a lot ! There are many usage warnings, so make sure to read all of the instructions and warnings (pics in the photos I posted) before you buy this or before you use it. My concern was that it said if you get water on the bulb , the bulb could explode (which I thought was a little unnerving.) I am going to be trying this with an injured shoulder and with friends who have really bad sports injuries and arthritis to see if it helps . If you want to try an infrared light therapy I would say at this point it seems that it will do what it has been suggested that it will do. I will update my post after a week or so of practical use. So far I am pleased.

Effective, hands-free, drug-free, noninvasive pain relief.
As you've undoubtedly noticed, red light therapy is all the rage right now. It's a drug-free, noninvasive way to get relief from chronic pain and other inflammatory conditions. Red and infrared light stimulates collagen production, which can help cushion joints and ease symptoms of arthritis, for example. It can also be used cosmetically to slow and maybe even reverse the development of wrinkles and fine lines. This device is tall like a regular floor lamp, but it has an infrared light at the top. It comes partially assembled, but it's pretty easy to put the rest of it together. The biggest annoyance for me is that you have to add water or sand to the base to counterbalance the weight of the lamp itself. I would prefer sand, but I didn't have any, so I used water. It works, but I wish the counterbalance had been worked in the design of this device.Still, even after it's assembled and properly weighted, it's easy to move this lamp around to whatever room or area you want to use it in, thanks to the wheels built into the base. The cord length is average, but should be long enough for most usage scenarios. The neck of the lamp is flexible, so you can bend it or turn it in whatever direction you need to get coverage. There's a single dial on the body to operate it. You twist it on for power, then adjust the intensity. It makes a small humming noise while using it, but it isn't too loud or obnoxious. It can, however, be very bright, depending on the setting you choose. This lamp definitely does seem to work to ease pain. I believe it has helped me with the pain I have in my hip constantly. I have been using it along with other red light devices for several weeks, and while I still have a twinge of pain in the area, it is only an echo of its previous intensity. That's more than enough for me to be very happy to have a product like this! But, while it is a slim design with a relatively small footprint, I have had trouble figuring out where and how best to use it. So far I have it beside my bed and I use it there as I relax before sleeping, but that's not an ideal location for it to live forever. It's obviously too big to tuck away in a drawer, and I don't have the space to just find a corner for it somewhere. If you live in a smaller house or apartment, you might have a similar problem. And this lamp is expensive. If it really works for you, it's well worth the expense, in my opinion, but I also think it's worth shopping around to find the best device for your needs. One other factor to take into consideration is that this lamp works hands-free. Most of my other red light devices are handheld. I have developed cramps trying to hold them where I want them for the several minutes they need to work. I like that I don't have to do that with this lamp.Overall, I like this product, and I do recommend it. It has eased some of my pain, and it might help relieve yours, too. And don't forget--with Prime, there's no risk to try it. If it isn't right for you, Amazon offers hassle-free returns. Gotta love that!

A bit cheap for what it is!
I wanted this because it has a bendable piece thinking this will be easier to use and adjust to the ares where I want it to work. The pieces are bit cheap looking and feeling and quality is lacking for the price you payed. If you bend/tilt it the wrong way it tends to fall off so make sure you weight it on the bottom.Gives out a good light but a bit noisy for what I wanted. I have 3 different kinds and this is the most expensive one and honestly the worst.I didn’t use it enough to justify how well it is on pain management as I feel i will end up getting hurt if it falls on my back (I have pets and a small kid at home so that’s a concern) also that noise bugs me, I hate white noise so that is something that bugs me the most.
