GRECIAN PLUS Haircolor Foam 5 oz

this product worked perfectly. now i was only greying, not fully grey. in a couple of weeks of suggested us my hair looked much younger, color-wise.. not fake. then in maintenance mode, only twice per week and i was stable. then they stopped making it .. very disappointed. tried the other foam.. not happy with it, now going to try Grecian liquid.

Used this over a period of months every day with no noticeable change. Gray is still gray. What else can I say?

This product will not completely eliminate gray hair no matter how much of it you use. It will darken hair though, and it does look completely natural.I had used Just for Men hair color but it gave me an allergic reaction after the fourth use. Grecian does not give me a rash or allergic reaction at all. So if you reacted to Just For Men, try this one. It worked for me.

My husband uses to bring back the blonde tones in his hair. Works well but you have to apply frequently and has a weird smell.

*Update - my little can lasted me exactly two weeks (14 days), but I ordered a new one before I ran out, so I've kept it going every day, I'm in the middle of week 3 as I type. It is still working, my gray hairs are still there but they are definitely much less noticeable and look darker. The stuff still stinks, but since I use it in the evenings, no one else suffers from it but me, and I've kind of gotten used to it. I'm hoping I reach the level of "darkness" I want with this second bottle, and then I just have to buy one more for occasional maintenance, at least that's how I think it's supposed to work. I'll check in again in a week or two and give another update to this review.Too soon to tell, I've only been using it for about a week, but it seems to be darkening my gray hairs. I'll try to post an update maybe in another week, see how it's progressing. The reason I wanted to write this review now is that I wanted to say one very important thing about this foam, it STINKS! Like seriously, very heavy and annoying smell, like industrial hair product or something. The first time I used it, I applied it in the morning after showering and drying my hair, BIG MISTAKE! I had to walk around all day stinking up every place I walked into! Luckily I was at an outdoor birthday party most of the day, so the smell wasn't concentrated to one place! Ever since, I've been applying the foam in the evenings, and let it work overnight. I waited a whole week since starting with the foam to use shampoo on my hair in the morning, and I'll probably wait another week before shampooing again. I do rinse my hair every morning, so I hope that's not slowing the process down. Applying this in the evenings has worked for me. Sure, my pillow smells a little now, but nothing major. I'll check in next week, let you know how it's going.

This product has several very positive reviews, but my experience was not nearly as satisfactory.My primary complaint is that it works VERY slowly - more slowly than is really mentioned anywhere that I researched. And for the amount of time (and therefore, product) required to achieve results, it becomes rather expensive. Thus, I've just ordered the liquid Grecian Formula to see how that works by comparison (and it is MUCH less expensive - we'll see whether it actally works).My second complaint is that this stuff does NOT have a "pleasant" odor, as mentioned in the advertisement. It smells like little else that I can think of, but imagine walking around with a weird mixture of vinegar and brown tar stuck to your head, and that begins to describe the odor. And Yes, the odor will get on your pillow, or your favorite baseball cap.Finally, my third complaint is that it takes substantially more product for each use than is mentioned in the instructions. They state that a "golfball size" quantity is sufficient per application - NO WAY. Although I am thinning slightly, my hair is still quite plentiful and it requires at least five times that much to make it feel "slightly damp", as the instructions specify.Still, I am offering "2 stars" simply because it did make my hair a little darker (after 30 days!) although it would have been far more efficient and affordable to simply get it professionally colored.

My husband loves this Grecian and he is often sloppy.It works without hair looking dyed and best of all, he can control the usage so it is more 'natural' looking.Make sure to wash hands after using this and do not use with cuts on hands or scalp as it contains lead!
