This dvd player is great for keeping my 2 year old content in the car. It connects easily and securely to the headrest. The remote works from the front seat as well, which is a huge plus for me!

I ordered two of these for our Ford Expedition. Went with this one because I like that the DVDs slide into the top vs having to open the screen up like a lot of others.Pros:-easy to set up-sound and picture quality are fine-kids can watch the same movie or different ones-movie picks up where it left off last time we were drivingCons:-for me the remote doesn’t work from the front seat, so I have to get the movie going before we leave-had to rig the wire situation because it was messy looking and would have been tripping kids-every time you start the car you have to set up the screen mirroring. It’s only a few buttons on the remote, but would be nice if it just stayed connected!I ordered longer cables so I could run the wires down the back of the seat behind a seat protector to try and hide them a little better.

I bought this for my granddaughter as a Christmas gift. We used it once on vacation during Spring Break, and then it was put back in the box since we only use it when we go on trips. It worked great, but we were planning to use it again on another trip, and it looks fine on the outside, but it will not play. When it's turned on, the screen looks cracked on the inside and it was never dropped or anything. This makes us think that it was damaged from when we initially bought the item. It's past the deadline to return, so we're stuck with a defective item that cost quite a bit of money to use only once. Ugh! Frustrated customer!! Guess I'll be buying my electronics from a store from now on. :(

This has been a great solution for traveling with a little one and always wrestling with bad cell service and disrupted videos on our phones and iPad. We used to have to pull the car over to quiet a crying little one and often frustrated with trying to get videos to play through spotty cell coverage. The DVD player was an easy solution to install and has worked perfectly. Paired with headphones, the long rides are now peaceful and easier.I ordered a couple of DVDs but we also went to thrift stores and have bought many kinds DVDs for very cheap.

The media could not be loaded. This DVD player is super easy to install! The mount is super secure and does not move out of place. The picture and audio quality are great. The remote control is key! Allows someone else in the car to hit play, change DVD etc. without having to pull over. This DVD player makes traveling long distances with toddlers so much easier. Great value for price!

Overall I like it. I don't use the DVD portion, but instead connect my phone. The only issue so far is the rattling. It absolutely drives me crazy when I want it quiet in the car. So I have to take it down whenever not entertaining my son. That noise makes me want to give it a 3.5, but 3 isn't fair so I left it at 4.Update, took away another star because the DVD won't come out. I really only use it with hdmi cord, but I should still have the other option.

My previous car had built in screens for the rear seats. We never asked for it, but when my older daughter had her kids, we found this is a life saver especially when you're in slow traffic. So I bought this screen for our younger one, for her 1 year old baby. It looks and feels good quality. Easy to install and solid installation to prevent it falling or being pulled down. Nice picture. Works well with a CD. There is also option for a USB stick or SD memory card (we never tried that). Remote works well too so you can control it from the driver seat. Many setup options.Bottom line: a good buy.

They skip sometimes when playing a movie but overall performance is pretty good for a portable dvd player

DVD intake system did not work right from start. Came in a damaged open box as well.
