Amarine-made Automatic Submersible Boat Bilge Water Pump 12v 2000gph Auto with Built-in Float Switch

Must have been a defective pump....luckily I tested it be for installation other I would have been really angry...sent it back for a bigger and better model

The automatic feature (float valve) of this pump stopped working within 2 months of the purchase. Upon taking off the top and exposing the wiring, it's evident that salt water penetrated the seal of the top compartment and rusted off the connector and sensor panel. Definitely poor quality design and-or craftsmanship.

Wouldn’t long after installing the float switch shorted out and was almost a bad thing if I hadn’t been close and smelled plastic burning! I unhooked the automatic switch wire and it still functioned fine till this year and started blowing fuses! Not what you want in your boat!

Outstanding product with great price.

Not easy to clean. Housing must be disassembled to clear impeller.Design sucks and not as in pumping.

Tired of the short service life of expensive bilge pumps I gave this a try and it didn't disappoint. 3 years later and it is still going strong. A bilge is a punishing environment and saltwater makes it all the worse. Given the price of this bilge pump, I am happy with my purchase.
