I was skeptical of using an oil as a deodorant, but once again living libations came through. I was getting tired of my baking soda deodorant that I had to apply with my finger.I do have to re-apply this if I am sweating a lot - but I’ve come to accept that it’s a part of the deal with an aluminum free deodorant.The scent is strong, as you would expect with 100% concentrated essential oils, so you don’t need to apply a lot.I originally purchased the ‘sunrise’ and didn't care for the scent…but I love the ‘radiant earth’ scent. I had to return the ‘sunrise’ one regardless because it clearly had been tampered with. I opened it and there were little pebbles stuck around the edge and within the cap (pictures are attached).Also, I purchased another deodorant from Amazon - that was a different brand - and the seal was broken and there were indents in the deodorant so it was clearly used by someone else (so gross).I have read more than a few reviews for living libations products, purchased from Amazon, that have also raised concern about whether the products were tampered with e.g., diluted , opened, etc.If you are trying a living libations product for the first time then I do actually recommend buying from Amazon. The only reason I suggest this is because living libations does not accepts returns and the products are expensive. Of course you will need to check and make sure the product has not been tampered with in any way.Once you are sure you like the product, then I would recommend purchasing from living libations directly. The shipping cost is higher and it takes longer but if it guarantees the integrity of the product then I am okay with these downsides.On a positive note, living libations now has select products available for quick shipping :)

Poetic pits is absolutely the gold standard in deodorant. It works SOOO well. I justify the outrageous price with the fact that it serves as an intoxicating and sultry perfume that is all natural and doesn’t bother people with asthma or breathing issues. Both me and my husband use it (we experimented with many different scents before selecting our favorites). He loves mine and I love his! It works different with different people’s chemistry so try out smaller sizes until you find your favorite. Also, make sure it dries a bit before putting on tops — since it is an oil it will stain. But once dried I have not had an issue even if I sweat.

I really love this. I can’t stop sniffing myself lol. It lasts all day and truly does act as a perfume that intensifies when your body heats up. I love the rose scent, tempered by other herbal smells so it’s not overly floral or sweet. Pricy but you truly only need a dot.

This makes no sense. I really don't understand this product. I could easily combine essential oils in a roll on bottle for much less money and for more than twice the size. For this price deodorant, it should be genuinely bigger. Not at all what I expected especially. They need changes here. Where are all the different bright colors coming from in this formula? They are listing only essential oils as ingredients and clearly there's some coloring not being recorded, for example if you're using rose essential oil, it's not RED. Nothing listed as ingredients should make my product look so "red" and I don't want things on my arm pits that I don't know are going there. I'm usually a fan of this brand, but this product is a rip off and dodgy. I don't recommend it. Blend your own if you're just going to use essential oil blends on your pits. 2 stars because it does smell really nice, but otherwise seriously one star.

The deodorant did what it is supposed to do and I did not smell, but I’m just not a fan of the deodorant scent that I got… I got the original sent and I just don’t like it on me.

Despite that this product is highly over priced for it's size and purpose, it works as promised. It took me a day or two to get over the strong scent, but now that I have, I actually like it. Beyond that, this is the only under- arm deodorant that works for me, and I have tried them all. The substance doesn't stain my clothes. It does feel sticky on the skin. It dries quickly and leaves no residue. It also does not sting. All and all, much as I would not like to have to pay the price, this is the product I will keep purchasing.

I heard about Living Libations on the "ReWild Yourself" podcast and knew I had to try it. This deodorant is the ONLY one that I've found that legitimately works on keeping BO smell away every single time I use it and it has none of the extra stuff in it. Other natural aluminum free etc deodorants oy last a few hours/days at most. This one lasts forever and smells so good.My ONLY complaint is how expensive it is. If it was more affordable that would be much better. It's such a small bottle for how much it costs.
