Artaste56501 Rain II Forged 18/10 Stainless Steel Salad Fork, 7-Inch, Set of 12

These forks are 18/10 stainless, are solid and well balanced, are as tall as my current dinner forks, look gorgeous and are neutral in style. The bottom of the fork is small enough to fit easily into the slots in my dishwasher's silverware basket (requires forks to be placed tines up). I bought them because over the years my dinner forks have disappeared (down from 12 to 7) and I didn't want to buy more complete place settings. I'm thrilled with these because they are very well made (I never heard of this brand before, so I was skeptical) and because I bought some cheaper dinner forks that turned out to be the size of a dessert fork and they were very light weight, scratched easily and looked as cheap as they were. I'm going to give the cheaper ones to Good Will and plan to use these new ones for a long time to come. I've finally finished my fork quest!

I am replacing pieces of my set that I’ve lost over many years. These look nice, feel great in your hands, and wear beautifully. Nice heft with a graceful design. Also, the times on the fork are sufficiently pointed to suit my taste.

It's nice looking, but not the most practical because the end of the handle is much heavier than the rest. These are always falling out of my bowls. If you're only planning on using them on plates or larger bowls, you'll probably like these.
