This whole shelving unit weighs less then 25 lbs...but is super strong and sturdy! It has 5 shelves and each shelf holds up to 380 lbs with a max capacity of 1100 lbs...which is awesome! The frame is made of metal so I don't have to worry about it collapsing. Assembly was quick... it took me less than an hour and I didn't need any special tools although using a rubber mallet is helpful. The size of this shelves suit my needs well. I also love that it holds a lot but doesn't take up a lot of space. The shelf is 12"x 20" x 60" tall. You can adjusts the height of the shelves and you can build the shelf horizontal or vertical. I'm using this in my storage room and I'm quite pleased with it. Overall I don't have any complaints about this shelf. It was easy to assemble, price is great for the quality of product & it looks nice! Great shelving unit! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!

I was very surprised by how the packaging arrived compared to the end result of this garage shelf. The box was compact and didn't weight nearly what I thought it may.Assembly was super simple despite the instructions being one page with 4 pictures. I'd say it took me nearly a half hour and I used a little wood mallet and a flathead screwdriver. Make sure you bend the tabs in so they fit in each sleeve, especially on the crossbars that span the middle beams.Once assembled I was able to move the shelves with ease, it held together and didn't sway or twist. You can place the shelves in whichever height you like, I opted to make sure they would hold my black storage bins with yellow lids on the bottom 3. You can see in my photos how I set it up and measured.They look very nice and simple, and fit everything I needed to in order to keep bons off the ground and out of my already encumbered attic space.Initially I had considered the heavy duty shelving from Costco or something much more expensive. However, to save some money I wanted to try this solution and am pleasantly surprised.

Use rubber mullet to assemble. Parts looks flimsy but after assembly entire shelf is pretty robust and sturdy. Nice coating and all metal parts are perfect - no burrs or sharp edges. Now it is the most attractive part of my garage.

Junk, falls apart if you try to move it. Poorly built.

This comes in 2 boxes, one for each side. One box was fine but the other was completely banged up and the corners on every single shelf in it were broken. After many back and forths, the seller refunded half the money (I also said I would accept a new box). Putting these together the metal frame feels flimsy, but once together it seems ok. The instructions are not good but it isn’t hard to figure out. I think these will work but I will look for a different product next time.

I will admit that these shelves can be a little fiddly to put together but, with some patience, it can be done by just one person. Once assembled, they are very sturdy and hold a great deal of weight. They have a nice industrial look to them (utilitarian, not decorative). They can be configured in a number of ways and the shelves can be adjusted to most any position. I have these in the storage room for both of my business locations and I am very happy with them. Please note that they must be secured to the walls. They pose a tipping hazard without being properly secured.

It did take two of us but after we figured out they went together it could have just been one. They are super easy and fast to put together. Took us like 30mins for 2 of them. I use them in my garage to hold tubs mostly and they are awesome! Love the color and they are sturdy. I didn't mount them to the wall but they aren't somewhere that kids or anyone could pull them down or I would have. They provided a few extra items to make sure we were covered and would easily order more if I needed more. Great price and great product. I'll try and get some pictures up when that feature is back online.

I needed some garage shelving to store various power tools, gardening stuff, paint, etc.. I purchased 2 of these units and realized I could use 1 more. I also purchased another rack for a different section fo the garage to hold sports gear and the like and wanted to check out another unit.I planned to write a review outlining the little tricks and tips I learned setting up two units back to back, but in reality.... you should just buy this instead "Muscle Rack UR184872-R 5-Shelf Steel Shelving Unit, 48" Width x 72" Height x 18" Length, Red".If your time has any value at all, its worth the slight premium. Not only does the Muscle Rack set up almost instantaneously compared to carefully aligning the tabs on this unit, it is significantly more sturdy when loaded up (now with tools and heavy stuff like I planned for these). The major difference in construction is the gauge of metal (if this one is considered Heavy Duty, god help anyone who gets something lesser) and the flimsy bendable tabs to lock things together vs. the Muscle Rack's circular drop in tabs. Do not buy a unit that has this tab style fastener system like this one. On the first unit maybe 2/3 of the tabs didn't slide into the second sleeve the first time, round 2 maybe 1/2 the time. I still have not received the 3rd rack, though it was ordered same time as the Muscle Rack.Edit: Dropped a star since the Muscle Racks in now only like $3 more. Do not buy any rack with the folding, slide in tabs. Circular drop in connectors are the way to go (thought now i'm sure there will be super thin gauge drop in connectors that shear off that will negate this advice).
