Union Made Leather Badge Holder - USA Manufactured Heavy Duty Four Pocket ID Badge Wallet with Lanyard by Specialist ID

I'm doing my best to support USA manufacturers, so I bought this.This is a quality made product. I only wish it was made without a ring and link.I removed the ring on the leather wallet and put a chain through the leather channel that the metal ring went through. It made the wallet lay flat on my chest and I was able to hold my driver's license, insurance information, even some extra cash and a credit card.I only wish there would be a version of this wallet without the bulkiness of a ring and a snap-clip to make it sit flat.I don't like my "neck wallet" to advertise that it's there.

Update 1 Jan 2022: I am actually still using this and have discovered that it lasts long and is real leather, is sturdy and has lasted for almost a year or more. It's good. Discard the negative commentary below. I at first didn't think it was going to last but this has turned out to be quite good.------------------I thought this was going to be a good holder for my ID badge but it is fake leather, very not sturdy and seems like it's going to not last for even a month or two. I wouldn't recommend this and am sending it back, trying to find something better than this. Especially for this much money, wow.I do not recommend this, unfortunately. I thought it was going to be great and even with all the good reviews. I am disappointed.

The best badge holder I ever had. Very sturdy, and holds everything I need for work. My only disappointment, is the leather lanyard does not have the safety break-away device, so I can't use it.

I've had this for a maybe 6 months and it has been really durable so far. It is real leather and has a lot of pockets. It is also sewn really well and neatly. I thought it was a bit pricey compared to the others but it feels like it will last a lot longer so it probably works out to less money per use. (I had a fake leather one previously and it started peeling after a long while.) I only wish it was a teensy bit lighter and I wouldn't mind if it had a couple less pockets in order to be lighter. I'm sort of a smaller person and I can see and feel it pull on my shirt where I clip it on. I would get it again anyway because the quality is so good.

Only complaint is that I didn't see a union bug anywhere on the packaging or the item itself. Started using it immediately and it's held up great so far. I like that I can carry my piv card in the window side for easy use while entering and exiting my building and secure work area without having to remove it. Window pocket has held up well to piv card frequently being removed (to insert into computer) and replaced when leaving my office. I wear it on the sturdy neckstrap from home to office and then remove it and attach it to a pulley style clip-on doodad once inside the work area. Like the back pockets, which I use to carry my transit pass and and a business card. Super convenient, very well made, and exactly what I was looking for! Totally worth what seemed initially to be a kinda steep price.

I have been using this on a daily basis at work for over a year now. I paid around $20 for this and it is worth it, even though I have no need for the pockets in the back. I need to handle it a lot during the day as I need to scan my ID to get into hallways and doors at work. It is holding up without skipping a beat and looks good too. I can't speak for the lanyard as I use one from work, but it appears to be well made as the ID holder.

The failure point on multiple badge holders I've had has been the top attachment point - it wears out in anywhere from weeks to months. I wanted something lighter than the only badge holder I haven't worn out, the  OneTigris Tactical ID Card Holder Hook & Loop Patch Badge Holder Neck Lanyard Key Ring and Credit Card Organizer , but still less likely to fail at that top attachment point. I am hopeful the combination of light weight and secure-looking assembly will be the winning feature of this badge holder for me.

Top quality material like this genuine leather is the only material that seams to last for me as a flight attendant. This badge holder is abused daily and has yet to tear a single stitch or rip apart. I use it to hold my id, some van tips and 2 credit cards and it holds them snugly. I love it. I’ve gone through 3 other plastic/pleather badges before finally forking out the dough for this one. No regrets 🤘
