The Block Knife Sharpener O/B

This review is 100% verified purchaser and I have had no contact at all with the seller or manufacturer. I recently purchased a $400 Boker Tree Damascus drop point pocket knife made in Germany and wanted a way to sharpen the beautifully patterned 300+ layered Damascus stainless blade without damaging it. After doing some research I came across The Block Sharpener. This device did a very decent job with no marring, chipping or scratching the blade at all. I would highly recommend watching The Block Sharpener videos on YouTube and on their website and to use oil as recommended. I have also ordered on Amazon a $10 leather razor strop to get an even finer razor sharp edge but the videos say you can use the rough side of an old belt or even cardboard to refine the edge the Block creates. After a first try I can confirm that it does follow the original curved edge grind as advertised and does sharpen! Is it like a $700 EdgePro...absolutely not, but really is well worth the money and does quite a good sharpening job! I don't understand why some say it does not work because really it does. Quick and easy to use. Sharpened several knives when it came and was impressed by the results.

Had several of these bought at a gun show back east about 5 years ago. Gave some as gifts & finally lost the last one. Thought I would never find another one, looked on Amazon & was really surprised to find them! Best & easiest sharper I have ever used! Wife even uses them ! Work on serrated knifes also! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sharpening kitchen knives, fishing fillet knives, and hunting and skinning knives.

Despite the YouTube videos, this "sharpener" failed to improve the edges on any of my knives - from cheapies to very expensive. I bought it to restore edges in the field, but it failed to do even that, so I returned it. The metal poles are too soft to sharpen my knives.Others may have had similar or much different results.

Liked it for how fast it puts an edge on blade.Disliked how much it flexes. I feel it needs to be a little stiffer. Over all the job it does and the affordable price, it's worth the money.

This was my second sharpener I purchased. Just a few swipes with the Block sharpener and the butcher knives and cleavers in my kitchen are razor sharp. My wife always thanks me when ever I put a new edge on them because she notices it right away. I use the cleaver on steaks and when carving chicken and after a few swipes with the sharpener it makes fast work of them.

Un buen sistema para revivir el filo de nuestras navajas, me gustó mucho, bastante práctico, cabe en el bolsillo, eso sí hay que ir aprendiendo la técnica para que agarre un filo de locura me declaro fan de Block Sharpener, si tienes que hacer un reperfilado de tu navaja o sacarle lo mellado este sistema no te dará lo que buscas ya que ese trabajo requiere un sistema distinto, pero eso sí e visto que si hace milagros en algunas navajas de mi colección de que son de buenos aceros. Y el sticker que me hace ser parte de su tripulación arrrggg!!!

Enfumage marketing made in US.N'aiguisera jamais vos lames rasoir ou efficacement.Les vidéos de démo YT, sont montées, pour certaines le son est décalé,les couteaux sont déjà affûtés, aiguisés,affiliés.2 passages suffirait !!!Sur du D2 néant,sur du S30V idem.J'ai malheureusement utiliser ce appareil,il n'est plus comme livré.Donc retour non envisageable.Un fusil fera la même chose.2 étoiles pour l'idée de génie.
