Dowels are 11 5/8 inches
The dowels are a better quality than I can get at the local craft store and you get a bunch. I cut them down to 3 inch pieces to repair the screw holes on door frames and found they’re not 12 inches, they’re 11 5/8 inches. It doesn’t matter to me but keep in mind if you need exact measurements.

Great For My Autistic Nephew
My autistic nephew loves picking up twigs and sticks. These were a great solution. He uses them to drum on EVERYTHING and chews on them. If you have an autistic child that constantly looks for twigs and sticks to amuse themselves with them this is the perfect gift for them.
