Specific product: strong hold (not just regular); beard time: 9 months of growth with minimal trimming; beard length: about 3+ inches at longest areas; length of product use: about 2-3 weeks. Other beard-specific products used/tried before this one: Caveman oil and balm patchouli scent; Honest Amish beard wax and balm.The Urban Nomads product smells and looks like thick cake frosting that is vanilla. It even has sucrose listed as the second ingredient!! This stuff works for me because it keeps down the "twangers" that I have that some people call fly-away hairs. This product does not weigh down my beard and does not "feel" like I have a clump of goo on my face all day long. When I touch my beard it feels thicker because this product makes it a bit stiff (as it should). This product does the best job for what I've tried to keep my beard calm and more professional looking for what is otherwise a somewhat un-tamed beard. I apply it after a shower and follow the direction to both rub it all the way into my beard and also to be sure I get the top hairs coated to keep them down as much as possible. I will also then run a comb through it to evenly distribute it and then possibly just brush the top hairs to re-flatten them. It does feel a bit "heavy" at first but then as my beard dries it looks very nice, not oily and stays fairly calm the rest of the day even after touching it many times. The smell is not very strong to me and is fairly mild. Like I said, it smells like cake frosting and looks like it to me and my wife but goes into my beard just fine and looks very nice. I'm a fan for now and will be using the entire 2 oz. jar even though I probably would like a little more of a "woodsy" or "manly" smell...however, I can get some cologne for that!

I keep a 6-inch long beard made up of coarse, curly hair. It is so tough to keep it in any shape. I'd tried all manner of products to tame it to no avail, and I'd given up on trying new ones.This product appeared as a "People Also Purchased" item while shopping for a beard comb, and I am actually happy Amazon advertised something to me, for once!The consistency leans toward salve or balm. It easily melts between fingers enough to rub into your beard. Unlike most waxes, this glides smoothly and comfortably onto your beard. It does not leave any visible residue. My beard does not feel oily or waxy, but holds shape throughout my work day without fail.The noticeable fragrance is predominately a natural and understated vanilla. I am not especially fond of vanilla, but I really enjoy this smell. It is not overwhelming and does not project like some waxes with a musky fragrance.This is the product that you should buy if you have given up on using product to keep your long beard looking neat. A little bit each morning is all it takes to keep my beard looking great. A+ product!

This stuff is very nice. I immediately noted the sweet vanilla scent upon opening the jar. It is pleasant and soothing. It smells a bit sweet, probably due to the sugar in it (it contains sucrose. but don't eat it people. it's not frosting!). Sucrose can be used as a natural conditioner and moisture retainer, and is good for skin and hair, just an fyi. It seems a touch gritty when you take some out of the jar at first (again, probably due to the sucrose naturally crystalizing), but once you rub it between your fingers or hands, and warm it up a bit, it easily becomes nice and smooth to work with. I can tell you that this wax (or balm) is doing a good job of conditioning my facial hair, without it being oily, and I have only been using it for a few days. It has a good hold for everyday use and washes out nicely. Plus, did I mention yet that it smells good? Oh yeah, I did. Women and men alike are going to want to eat your face because it makes you smell good. But it works as good as it smells, trust me on that. This company needs to advertise a bit more, because I know they could sell many more units of this (and probably their other products, if this one is any indicator of quality) and make this one of the top selling waxes on the market. First one I ordered the cap was chipped in two big sections. The box had no damage, but there was chips of plastic in the product. Amazon immediately replaced it for free. Love Prime. The replacement was perfect.My impression of the product is that it smells nice, a little like coconut to me more than anything. A subtle pleasant smell, not perfume or overly scented.It has a very easy to work with texture for a strong hold beard product. I've used them all and have found Grave Before Shave to be my favorite and go to all around beard product, but it leaves my beard wet. This Best Beard Balm & Wax Strong Hold leaves my beard dried out. It does not feel conditioned or sticky. It's a bit straw like actually. I think combining this with a little beard oil or beard balm might help.That being the case, the product does hold the beard in place. It's probably the best beard balm that I've used to do this. None of all, I mean all, the other product on the market hold my beard in place as easily as this. Grave Before Shave wax does a fantastic job of holding my beard in place, but it's straight wax not a pliable balm.I'm unsure if I'll use this instead of GBS because of the price. It's too expensive to justify using daily for me.So I like it, I don't love it, but its far better than most other beard product out there.

Es justo lo que buscaba para dar forma a mi barba es tipo mantequilla dura pero al contacto con la piel se derrite y permite dar forma a la barba y además una de las pocas cremas que tiene un aroma agradable a fruta muy recomendable a diferencia de otras que he probado

El mejor que he probado. Es un pastón sí pero cunde con creces. He gastado dinerales en otras ceras malas por ahorrar y ni una de las baratas se salva. Ésta es una pasada. Con ponerte en el dedo el equivalente a un dado de parchís o menos , repartes bien por las manos y tienes para el pelo y la barba. Fijación todo el día. El producto se nota al tocarte ambos porque sigue ahí. Es pastoso pero no mancha las manos ni las deja grasientas al hacerlo como con otros productos. Para mí el mejor hasta la fecha. Realmente impresionante

Leider hat sich wohl die Zusammensetzung geändert. Ich hatte das Produkt ursprünglich immer wegen dem guten Halt geholt, den es nun nicht mehr gibt. Für mich ist das Produkt nun wie jedes andere Billigprodukt. Ich werde es nicht mehr bestellen. Anfragen an den Verkäufer werden auch nicht beantwortet, schade
