Jesse Stone: Thin Ice / No Remorse (Double Feature 2-DVD Set)

This movie needs to be watched in order from the 1st movie or you will get confused on events mentioned in later movies. We have all of them except the last one and we liked them. The price was also good. We buy a lot of DVDS to watch and these were a good addition to our collection.

as per his others he again did a super job on these 2 movies.

Enjoyable set of Jesse Stone films with Tom Selleck. I did prefer the first few movies more than these. Overall, enjoyable, but not as good as the earlier ones before Actor Sellect took over as executive producer and made some changes.

We enjoyed both of these movies. Good story lines and good acting.

This series of movies done by Tom Selleck and company are absolutely beautifully done. From the music score to the sets, lighting, casting, location shots - I find myself re-watching one every now and then, which is rare for me.The screenplay and story are a haunting rendition of Parker's stories.I heartily recommend all of the Jesse Stone movies, as well as Thin Ice/No Remorse.

I needed these two to complete my set of the wonderful Tom Selleck films, all of the films are top notch.

The whole of Jesse Stone series are quality viewing.

I happened upon Tom Sellek's portrayal of Jesse Stone quite by accident, and found the character charming and nuanced. Selleck is surprisingly convincing in the role of a complicated man with a past, and as both a gritty police chief and a public servant with emotional and ethical issues I find him attractive. There are of course signs of this complexity in his other films, like Quigley Down Under. The plot-lines in all the Jesse Stone films I have watched so far (six of them) are always interesting and captivating. I am also rather taken with the fact that, as a resident of Nova Scotia, I recognise a number of scenes filmed here, such as Blue Rocks (I believe) and the two Halifax bridges (unquestionably), one in a rainstorm, and the other as a backdrop as Jesse and Suit ate doughnuts (like "real" cops!). Great movies with a complexity and small New England charm that make watching them all really worthwhile. I don't know what Selleck is like in real life, but he comes across as a really nice guy.

Je suis déçu je croyais qu’ils seraient avec au moins des sous-titres français, c’est difficile à savoir. J’aurais aimé qu’ils soient français. Est-ce possible de l’indiquer car je ne comprends pas bien les films anglais, je ne suis pas capable de suivre correctement l’histoire et en saisir le sens. Merci
