worked like a champ
used this in some 1" npt brass fittings on 70psi house water booster pump that many people had complained had leaky fittings from the pump. Bought this along with the pump in anticipation of this and it worked like a champ.

Substantial Improvement
This product is a substantial improvement over standard white silicone thread tape. Much thicker and formulated to work on stainless steel threads. While pricey if you want a drip free junction the first time this product is ideal. I used standard white silicone tape on 1" stainless steel to 1" brass fittings. Drips could not be stopped. After ordering and installing the High Density tape. Problem solved.

Worth every one of the many pennies you pay for it in critical applications.
If you have a threaded pipe that you can't have leaking, buy this tape. I've used it with jet fuel and diesel for years and it's the only thing I'll use any more...everything else leaks with no pressure and this stuff hold up to pressure when it's not even wrench tight yet..

Toughest Thread Tape Out There
The only stuff I use on Stainless Steel high pressure joints. Just plumbed in a pressure tank for my well and not a drop. Pricey, but work the elimination of hassles.
