CangshanSanford Series 65510 German Steel 6-Piece Knife Set with Sheaths

These knives are ergonomically friendly, aesthetically beautiful, incredibly sharp and have the perfect weight and balance between blade and handle. We have the Cangshan L1 Series (with the white handle) but we 100% prefer this Sanford Series set. I personally favor a knife made of a continuous piece of steel (German) than a knife designed with two -or three- different materials, crevices and sometimes bolts, that will show wear and tear sooner and easier. As long as these Cangshan Sanford Series knives are washed by hand and dried right after, sharpened appropriately and given the intended use, they'll last forever, so the price is -somewhat- justified.

I love these knives! So sharp, it's a joy to cook again. I've never splurged and bought good knives. They're weighted nicely and are well made

An Air BnB I stayed at had a set of these in the wood block and I was so impressed that I immediately bought a set. I found it difficult to spend so much on a set of kitchen knives, but it was well worth it! My favorite is the "D Series" Santoku Knife. The Santoku in this set is a bit larger, but is still easy to use.ALL of these knives are SHARP!!! and they stay that way. Just give them a touch up every now and then with a steel and they should last a lifetime. The scissors are also sharp and can be taken apart to clean or sharpen.JUST BUY THEM!!!!

This is our second cangshan set.The first was great, this one even better with lighter handle and no epoxy glue to crack in the dishwasher.

We have not had nice knives for awhile and did a lot of research! We noticed this brand on a top 10 of 2021 list and decided to give them a try (although not reviewed by consumer reports unfortunately). The are incredibly sharp, we purchased the set without a block because we prefer a magnetic wall mount. They work fabulously with the magnetic! It also makes their style pop. BE CAREFUL removing from the package. I thought I was being extremely careful but on knife slipped out of my hand and slid down slicing my thumb. The only part of the blade covered in the packaging is the very tip, although they do come with blade guards. We also purchased the sharpener from this same brand and have been very pleased. We sharpened all the scissors in the house, incredible.
