Really helps to understand what is happening when I watch a game
One of best soccer books I have read as really added to my understanding of the games I watch.....For example, I can now appreciate the pressing game of Bayern and Dortmund, and the German demolition of Brazil in the World Cup semi final which I watched with greater appreciation after reading analysis in this bookI particularly found the analysis of the changing skill sets required position by position illuminating together with the passing of the off-side trap. All this plus an entertain style and humorous insights not least was the discussion of what motivates Suarez to bite.

TSF Scores Again
The TSF once again provides an excellent read. A must have for any football fan interested in any aspect of the game. The strategy, financials, phsychology it’s all here with the same easy to follow anecdotes you come to expect from the TSF.

Good for serious soccer minds
I like the book and the descriptions from a top players perspective. If you are a analytical coach or soccer player, it is worth the read.

Decent book, better than the authors second book but not as good as his first book. I would say about 75% of book is a good read, the other 25% seemed no better than if you were sitting in a bar and you were getting and earful from some tipsy passionate football fan rambling on about whatever it is he talking about

Nice
A bit short but nice. Just finished reading Capello & Das Reboot, they sort of form the background for this book

Yes, it's worth it
Interesting and entertaining, this behind the scenes look offers an enhanced picture of modern football, both on and off the pitch. If you are a football fan looking for something other than the pervasive, shallow media narrative, this is a good read.

It's really terrible...
Self-absorbed nonsense that repeats itself constantly. The author (Dave kitson) tries to prove that footballers are just normal blokes and all that but who is he (it's definitely Dave kitson) kidding. His weekly salary is almost my yearly wage! And it's clearly Dave kitson.

A lot of cool information about football world
A lot of cool information about football world. Maybe not the most guarded secrets, but some fancy stuff which is great to go through.

More insight from TSF
Well worth reading for the Secret Footballer's take on modern football - not just stories of footballers this time, but more insight into the game itself

Entertaining. Good insight and a quick read.
Good genuine book. It's good to read a football book that appears to not have been by a ghost writer.
