Horrible Frustrating Product
This digital frame was frustrating to use for a variety of reasons:1) you could not simply turn it off and on. If you unplug the device it goes to a menu screen when you turn it on and you have to use the hateful remote to try and get your pictures to display. EVERY-TIME!! The on/off switch went through the same cycle.2)The remote is USELESS. It does not work.3)My husband and I both tried to set up a schedule where the device would come on at the times set. Well, that did not work either. It did not always turn on at the times we specified and the slideshow would freeze up for no apparent reason.**I returned it** The first product that I have returned to Amazon and bought the Sony DPF-D810 8-Inch SVGA LCD (4:3) Digital Photo Frame (Black) .Night and Day difference. Highly recommend the $20 extra that you will spend. It is fantastic and does all of the above with ease and more. It is easy and the remote is fantastic. I am going to purchase another for my husband.

Panimage P18004W01
I received the photo frame in a very timely manner and love it. The photos were very easy to upload and I love the fact that it holds 6400 pictures on it's memory, has a remote control, clock and can add music. The picture quality of the pictures are very good also. You have to plug this in an outlet, but for the price you can't beat it.

nice for the price
Mine does not have the clean, sleek look of the item pictured. It has a more traditional frame, which is not exactly my taste...but still nice. It'a a very good product all around, but I suspect there have been some updates since this one was manufactured. It would not accept the videos from my digital cameras, with one exception. Of course I'm happy that it will play any videos, but I did have certain files I really wanted to display and install. It's not terribly user-friendly, but then I'm not terribly tech-wise; I got it all figured out eventually, with help from the manual (except the video part). I am also pleased that it has more internal memory capacity than most digital frames in its price range. For what I paid I really can't complain (but obviously I did anyway)!

A good value for an entry-level PDF
As my first PDF is serves my purpose well; lots of versatility for image input formats. The remote is tedious to use, but effective with patience. The product description listed mini-port speaker jacks but none exist and that was not a critcal feature for me. The frame adjusts photo display to its orientation, so I upload landscape and portrait photos to different folders. All things considerated, it was a good buy.

Slow processor and bad software ruin a nice looking frame
This frame could be OK if Pandigital would issue a firmware update but there aren't any available on their site and it's been a long time since this frame was released. I highly doubt they will every improve it. The processor in the frame is either very underpowered, or the software is badly written. I suspect it is the latter since the menu system is very poor and the wireless features are flawed. This is yet another frame thata) Does not allow you to organize your photographs easily into foldersb) Is incompatible with most video formatsc) Won't play many simple JPEG imagesAside from that, the transitions between photos are jerky. There's no pan / scan. It does not do a nice fade to back option. It is cheap and I did consider keeping it as it was intended as a Christmas present, but after battling with the very slow and unresponsive remote control I decided it would not be a nice present to 'inflict' upon anyone!Sending it back and looking for something else. This is about the 6th frame I've tried and I seriously do not recommend it.I also bought the wireless adapter for this, and although I was able to set it up OK, the software is again fundamentally flawed. You can access public photo sites without logging in and leaving the password in clear-text on the frame. Also - it does not automatically update when the remote content updates. I.e., I can't set it up once, then it to grandma and have control remotely over what is displayed. My advice, Look elsewhere...

SPECS NOT AT ALL CORRECT
I ordered this as a gift for my father. Another person rec'd this same frame (as least same product number). My dad liked it so I purchased it for him. I was expecting (as the description said) 1GB internal memory, 1 different colored mats, and WiFi/Bluetooh capabilities. When it came in it had 512MB internal memory, no mats, and was only Bluetooth capable. NOT what was described.I called the company that sold this and he said it is amazon's fault. Not sure how. He stated that they put there own description in there. Either way, ordering the with the same product number as the friend should have ensured me that I would get the exact same frame...the one that was described. They said they will be issuing a refund. We will see how quickly that happens...(and if they make me pay for it!)The lesson I learned is only purchase when it says seller: Amazon. I have never had problems that way.
