I needed something to slice onions very thin so I could make Oklahoma onion burgers. This is just the ticket. It can slice onions so thin you can see through the slices.It does great on thicker cuts as well. Making fried potatoes? This is just a thing to use. Incredibly sharp.I had a mandolin slicer before, but it was plastic and eventually it broke. This is all metal, and the important parts, and is very durable.

This product is a game changer! I definitely recommend. It works great and is very stable. It's very easy to handle and it is extremely sharp so it definitely cuts your food prepping time in half!

I needed to find a replacement for my German mandolin kitchen slicer but was unable to locate one her in America. Instead I went with this steel version. So far it has worked fairly well and seems durable. I’m not a fan of the rotating blade system however. I understand why they include protective gloves as it’s easy to cut your fingers when slicing or cleaning. I prefer the ability to add or remove the different blades rather than having 4 permanently attached. This slicer does seem much sturdier than the plastic version and having legs allows me to place a dish or bowl underneath when cutting. In other words, it’ll suffice and should last longer than my fingers.

Easy to use. Only thing I don’t like;would be nice to have a gauge for thickness. No way to see how thick or thin the product is unless you slice each time.

This mandolin worked great for a while. I used it for french fries. But over time it stopped slicing all the way through, so I would have to separate the fries by hand.It is easy to use. It’s easy to clean. It slices good when new.

The mandolin worked as expected, cleans easily (using the small brush), and is very sharp. I had no problems slicing firm apples, the stand height was great for the accumulated pile of one sliced apple.

It wobbled about was extremely awkward hard to hold onto, came apart at an opportune times and never ever worked well Since I didn’t return this in the period of time I was supposed to I ended up donating it and hope that whoever I donated it to has better luck than I did, but I doubt it

Julienne blades missing.

Using the slider device was not always practical. The spikes seem to be too short to hold vegetables with the pressure and force to slide veggies into the cutting blade.
