Tuff ToeBoot Protector Guard Cover Dip | Waterproof Shoe Repair Glue Adhesive

This product is amazing. I have had it on my boots for almost 4 months. I am a flooring installer, wood, tile, etc. I do not wear my boots everyday, but when I do its because I am going to be on my knees, dragging my boots across concrete, wood, tile shards, nothing good for them. Previously, I had used the stick on rubber toe guards, and they worked, for awhile. I wanted something more durable, stumbled across Tuff Toe, and decided to give it a try.APPLICATION IS IMPORTANT.Prepping the shoe is just as important. Its a two part product, and when I installed it in December, in my garage, it took all I had to squeeze it out. So plan accordingly. Take your time, watch the installation videos. Tape off the boot, it self levels very nicely, and you can fill in any existing voids/scar with no adverse effects.The only spot where I had the product fail is right at the end of the installation, on the sole. I did not clean the sole of the boot like I was supposed. When the spot started flapping off about a quarter inch back, I cut it with my knife, with no further issues. By now, I would have worn through any unprotected boot. If I was using the toe guards, I could expect about 6 months out of them. I am almost 4 months in and there is very LITTLE wear on the toe guard.Exceptional!

I'm sick of the toes of my work boots wearing off. Tuff toe is easy to on. Hoping it does the trick.

Only complaint I have is me not buying the tuff toe gun. Super easy and simple. Works absolutely awesome! Will definitely start using on all of my boots!

There is a video from the manufacturer on YouTube showing the best way to apply this to your boots. I highly recommend watching it before attempting to do this yourself. Although I watched it before purchasing this product, I should have watched it again to refresh my memory before applying it, as I made some mistakes and it came out looking rather sloppy. Totally my fault.A considerable amount of force is required to push the compound through the syringe. I am by no means weak and had to use two hands to do it, which probably also negatively affected my ability to get a good looking result since it reduces the amount of control you have. Although it's not required, I will probably buy the applicator gun if I need to do another pair of boots.Setting all that aside, however, the end result does appear to be very durable so far. I would certainly buy it again in the future.

You don’t need to use a lot of product I thought was going to be weak cover but is super tough product, if I would know it probably never waisted the whole thing just for a pair of boots enough for at least 2 pairs lol 😅

I bought this because the toes of my boots were wearing off and exposing the steel toe underneath. I tried shoe goo but that came off within a week. I decided to try to the tuff toe because it looks similar to the Pitcher's toe that I used on my softball cleats in high school and that worked great. The Tuff toe works good but I work a lot outdoors and my boots come in contact with a lot of different things (rocks, dirt/mud, tree stumps, etc.). The tuff toe is already peeling after just a few weeks and edges are starting to come off the boots but is still protecting my boots.Application is very easy, I found a video on the Tuff Toe website that gave a very good demonstration. There is a lot in the tube and it seems like way too much for just 1 pair of boots but I would suggest applying it thick or else it will wear down quickly. I would also suggest taking the time to really smooth out the product on your boots because if dries lumpy you'll be stuck with it.Overall, this is a great product. It did not work as perfectly as I hoped it would but it is cheaper than buying another pair of boots.

this stuff seems to work good once you get it applied. It is moderately difficult to put on without the applicator gun they sell separately. but like the product itself, the gun is expensive and almost $30 the cost is my biggest concern as if you buy a single pack and its $33 and can only do one pair of shoes, thats roughly 1/3 the cost of the boots. I bought it with the hope of being able to stretch it to doing two pairs of boots, which it did easily. so figure $15 for each pair of boots you apply this stuff to. they should sell the applicator gun for much less or even give it away free in a larger package as it will make it more likely of repeat purchases. i am going to try it a two pack next time as the two pack pricing is much better.

My husband uses this for his work boots to protect them from every day wear and tear. He puts it on before he uses the boots and they last way longer.

Would highly recommend to anyone working in the trades that is going to be on their feet all day and have nice boots, or just want to prolong the life of them. This stuff definitely protects the toe and steel cap of your shoes, will help your boots last way longer. The whole process to apply the product takes maybe 20 minutes and is super easy to do. Includes great instructions and everything you need including sandpaper and a wood stick to spread the Tuff Toe. Just make sure to mask your boots!!

使用するのは2回目ですが1回目より硬くて押し出すのにかなりの力が必要でした。使用期限の有無は分かりませんが、長期保管でそうなるのですかね。

Excellent product! QR code on the product links you to an awesome instructional video. Would recommend purchasing application gun with this product to allow for a much easier application and better overall Finnish.

Tuff toe is the product to use, it is a good thick application that is the only one to be used out there that is good enough that looks like it came from the factory. I'm going to let you know now of the product review of using it in the field. So far know I have been using it for a couple of months or even longer out in the construction field and is been holding up wonderfully to the outside elements and day to day field operations in the construction field. I've dealt with rebar, concrete, dirt, dust, water and so far it's held up wonderfully. This product I will absolutely and definitely use again for my boots even if they're brand new it will give the longevity of the toe if not protected. This product is wonderful and I will definitely purchase it and use it again and you have to remember it's not just for boots you could practically use it on anything that you want a great coding for protection for. The company I purchased from here gave me exactly what the product was, and I use the product exactly as you are supposed to. It was good shipping I paid extra for the fast shipping and it came a day before all in all I will use this company again no problems.

What a difference this makes on the toe of my trailing curling shoe! Applying it is a bit tricky – definitely watch the Tuff Toe and Goldline videos – but it is absolutely worth it!
