Perfect for bathroom
I bought this for a remodel in my bathroom. Looked at a bunch of overpriced ones at big box stores and finally bought this. I am very pleased with the purchase. My recommendation is two 40w bulbs instead of two 60w bulbs, it looked the the sun was in my bathroom with the 60s. If however you are a baller with a massive bathroom then two 60s are fine... but then you’re probably also not looking at a $30 fixture then either.

Great light, not great directions
Great new light! Looks more updated than the light that was in our house when we bought it. I’ve never changed a light fixture in my life and this was pretty easy to figure out! The directions were not very helpful-although they described the steps, they only gave one picture of how everything should connect at the end. Would have helped to have step by step pictures. But I was able to figure it out (after some sweating and some sweating) and now our hallway looks much more modern!

Look at the Diagram and READ the Instructions
I replaced a single light ceiling fixture with this 2-light fixture in my foyer. The other fixture was of much heavier metal and polished to be more reflective. This one had a paper disk with a reflective surface and was glued onto the back. I hope the glue resists the heat. The key slots were cut almost as big as the heads of the screws. I centered the screws as much as possible and was cautious in tightening them for fear of pulling then through the thin aluminum back plate. The key holes I chose may have been slightly off from each other because I could not rotate the base so that the screw heads were at the very bottom of the keys which might have provided more mounting strength. For Grounding: it's easier if you actually READ the instructions rather than just looking at the diagram. The bottom line: when it is up and working it does look very nice and gives off a more balanced, pleasing light than my old single light fixture.

Replaced a florescent closet light
It probably is no more or less difficult to put up than any other light but I had a hard time with it. This was as bright as the florescent without the flickering that was driving me crazy. It looks nice. No one would look at it at say, "Oh, that must set you back a pretty penny, it's so beautiful." But it's in a closet and nobody else is going to see it anyway. The closet has a popcorn ceiling, so it was easy to plug the holes left by the florescent with a little white matching putty. It was just what I wanted. I'm happy with it.

The screws provided are to short to attach to the bracket.
I ended up having to purchase two screws that were 2 1/2 inches long in order to install the fixture. The Screws provided were to short (1 1/2 inches long) to attach the light fixture to the bracket. With the insulation, it was not possible for me to get the screws provided started into the bracket. Once I got the longer screws it was easy. It would be a lot easier if the fixture could be attached with a threaded bold into the bracket thus holding the fixture to the ceiling. The same process as attaching the glass globe but use for the fixture also.; design department review. Overall, I like the light fixture except for the one install step.

Nice light, frustrating install
Good light for the price, and a much better deal than similar lights from Lowe’s and HD. Still, for the life of me I can’t figure out why these companies don’t design a better mounting system. This light (like others in its price range) requires you to blindly thread two screws through 2 inches of insulation to connect to a mounting plate. I had insulation all over my arms by the time I was done. Frustrating

Painful setup, but beautiful finished product
Setup was a pain. I don't really have any tips other than don't trim the wires until you're absolutely sure they will fit. I don't know why these guys decided to use two hot wires for the two separate bulbs, couldn't you just merge the two? Other than setup, and the gosh dang abrasive insulation that cut me, it's a really nice looking fixture. Use LEDs or that thing will be as hot as a volcano.

Very nice!
One draw back is they use a fiberglass or something under it so it's super itchy recommend gloves/long sleeve.Easy install, instructions not needed at all.Very nice look, great upgrade over my 70's-80's light fixture. (If you need to clean popcorn ceiling use your garage boom and run it across it'll get all the dust off.)Would recommend.

Good.
Good product. Good design. Average brightness. Price could be a little lower.
