Great paint for active kids
Pros:- Quality paint, vibrant colors, not thin or transparent- Washable- Great price per ounceCons:- Need different containers use paint out of.- If you buy a bunch of colors, storing the bottles of paint starts to take up spaceI was looking for inexpensive paint so my kids could go hog wild painting anytime they wanted without breaking the bank. My girls would burned through typical paint sets in no time. This fit the bill. I bought 10 different colors of Crayola Artista II paint. You get a lot paint for your money with these 16oz jars, but you need to buy something to store the point in that is kid friendly. You're not going to be able to dip you paint brush in these paint containers. If you just squirt some on a palate, then you will end up through a lot of paint away after each painting session. You also lose a lot of paint if you rinse out a single brush between colors. My solution was to buy 10 paint cups and 10 paint brushes one for each color. It works great; my little girls have fun and don't have to worry about running out of paint. For paint containers and paint brushes I bought- Chenille Kraft No-Spill Round Paint Cups- Chenille Kraft Preschool Paint Brush AssortmentI like the bushes; a lot of brushes with good variety of styles and widths.I'm not a fan of the paint cups. They work alright, but they don't seal very well so the paint may dry out over time. Wonderfully Washable With Great Brilliant Color!
I love this paint! The price is very economical, the color is vibrant, the paint is thick so it doesn't run, but the best part is that it is washable. My 3-year-old has gotten this paint everywhere: the carpet, wood floors, his and my clothes, his sister's hair. It's come out of everything with a little bit of water and very little scrubbing. I also like the fact that it's non-toxic since it's made of organic compounds, so even if it ends up in his mouth (which it has), it's not a big deal.I was wondering what Tempera means and my research led me to define it simply as fast-drying paint that consists of pigment and a binding agent, like egg yolk. It also makes the paint very long-lasting. Some tempera paintings still exist from the first century AD, so that finger painting my 3 year old just did may to be around a while!

Love it!
I am making this review to say that I am very impressed with Amazon's customer service.I ordered about 9 of these, different colors, and 4 of them were broken. The lids were smashed. They came in a big box with the air bags.Obviously, it wasn't enough to protect the bottles, but Amazon replaced the product. All 4 of them. The texture of the paint is thick, and it goes well with the non-spill cups. I just pour about 20cc of paint into the cup and let the kids use it up, then I refill. If they don't use it all, I just put the lid on top, and save the rest of the paint for later.Great way to save the paint, and not waste.Love the colors I picked, and even more, love the smiles on my kids' faces when they're painting.Cleaning is a breeze. Just some water and scrubbing, and I'm done. And, if I'm too lazy to do the water routine, I simply grab a baby wipe, and done. Happy babies, and happy mommy.

Would not buy this paint online again...
I bought my son an easel and these paints to start doing painting at home. The paint is great, a good thickness and washes up easily. He splattered some on his pants under his smock and the paint came out in the wash no problem. However I would never order paint online again as I ordered four different colors and of the four bottles only one of them showed up with the cap intact. Something about the shipping process was causing the caps to shatter. And this was from two different sources, Amazon directly and an independent seller. Five stars for the paint, but buy it locally.

Great value, but not very washable
The Crayola tempera paints are a great value. My daughter uses plenty of paint with her easel, but 16 ounces of paint lasts a long time. The colors are bright and vibrant. It's easy to clean these paints off smooth surfaces, like flooring. However, the paints do stain clothes and other fabrics. These paints are not as washable as the Crayola fingerpaints or markers. We use the tempera paints with the Melissa & Doug and Sargent Art no-spill paint cups. Both styles are great, and they really help to contain the mess!

Just what we needed in the nick of time
Son forgot to mention he needed paint for a science project. Everything locally was sold out due to distance learning and moms trying to keep kids busy with crafts. Product arrived quickly and was exactly as expected. Unfortunately, the cat walked through it, so I had green paw prints all over my kitchen. But a bonus for the paint, it all cleaned up very easily with just water. (The counters, that is...the cat was tinged green for a few days).

Excellent quality, washable
Okay the only downside is that this paint smells a little funny. However, it is washable (very washable), dark colored, and high quality in my opinion. Love it. Love the larger size so I don't have to be the product police and limit his use of a certain color. Nice price, etc.
