I've been using the ShowerShroom Revolutionary 2" Stand-Up Shower Stall Drain Protector for a couple of months now, and I'm incredibly impressed with its performance. This little gray marvel has truly revolutionized my shower experience by effectively catching hair and preventing clogs.Its stand-up design makes installation a breeze, and it fits perfectly into my shower stall drain without any hassle. A little hard to remove but not impossible. It seems to work well and traps lots of hair. Put this ina shraeder drain and it fits fine

At first it was a little tight trying to squeeze this silicone hair trapper into my shallow bath tub drain. Once installed it was easy enough to remove to grab. I have tried a few of these on my tub and this is the only one to work for my long hair.

I wish I would have read detailed reviews before purchasing. I don't know how so many people give this product a 5 star. My guess is that they don't realize that the product isn't installed correctly and just assume that it is working. But this product needs to be re-designed to be shorter. As others have said, when you insert the ShowerShroom into the drain kit, it will go in smoothly but then "pop" as the silicone shelf/gasket at the bottom of the device pushes beyond the end of the drain kit and goes back to its relaxed position. This means that the only thing holding the ShowerShroom in is the little silicone handles at the top (which might mean it will eventually fall in to the drain, as others have had the experience of). Furthermore, because the gasket isn't engaged with the drain kit, hair just goes right around the ShowerShroom and down into the drain.We have an  Ebbe E4404  drain cover, which doesn't provide us enough clearance underneath to modify the ShowerShroom to sit higher. Fortunately, our drain also has an  Ebbe E103 Hair Trap , which we thought wasn't working well but we discovered was just installed upside down (when installed right-side up, it does a great job catching hair). So we went back to using the Ebbe Hair Trap and returned the ShowerShroom.After good experiences with the  TubShroom , we were really disappointed that the ShowerShroom is so flawed. Hopefully then shorten this product a bit! It looks like it could be a winner if it was only about an inch shorter.So in summary, the ShowerShroom is too long and does seat itself securely in the drain. So:* Hair goes right around the ShowerShroom instead of being caught in it* It is very possible for the ShowerShroom to fall down into your drain, requiring a plumber and an expensive visit to repair the damage* A future ShowerShroom might work wonders so long as it is 1" shorter (and possibly has a stiffer stop at the top to prevent being lost down the drain)* If you are getting a ShowerShroom to replace an Ebbe Hair Trap, make sure your Ebbe Hair Trap is installed correctly (with the fingers going *UP*, not down); when installed correctly, it works wonders

I bought this because hair was almost clogging my drain, and I wanted to avoid a bigger problem that involved calling in a plumber.Installation is very straightforward. I probably didn't read it in the product description, but the material is some kind of flexible plastic, almost rubber-ish. This means you can bend it a bit to make it fit your pipe's diameter, but it also means the top horizontal part which holds it in place can be bent and it can go deeper in your pipe than what you want.For catching hairs, it does a great job. The instructions state that you should clean it every couple of weeks, which I thought was too much. After a couple of weeks had past, there was enough hair trapped in it to justify cleaning it, so I guess the instructions were right.Removing the product can be tricky if it's still wet, since it can get slippery. I didn't want to risk pushing it too deep in the drain, so I ended up using a pair of pliers to pull it out.Hopefully it lasts a while, though given the price, I wouldn't hesitate to by a replacement in a couple of years.

Tenia tiempo esperando que estuvieran disponible en Mex el SinkShroom y el ShowerShroom. Por fin los tengo y funcionan genial!! Se me cae pelo en la ducha como si fuera un gato, esta cosa ya me salvo de tener que estar poniendo quimicos al drenaje de la regadera que eventualmente iban a dañar la plomeria. Muy efectivo y muy facil de limpiar. 100% recomendable!.

Retient bien les cheveux, facile à mettre et à enlever

Leggermente più grande ma si è adattato ugualmente perché è in silicone morbido. Molto soddisfatta, non lascia passare peli e capelli.
