Unequal Halo 1 – 6mm Protective Headgear with Military-Grade Patented Composite, Coated Aramid Fabric

I have a benign tumor on my brain that is taking up space and I need to have some protection from bumps and a possible fall when working around the house and on uneven ground in the yard. Yup, a picture of my brain. A helmet would be too much so I opted for the Unequal Halo. The Velcro closure makes it very easy to adjust to make it comfortable for long wear. I love the choice of colors and hot pink was my pick. It is comfortable and does not look out of place when wearing it to the store during winter when pavement is icy.

I love the halo. It is light and I forget I have it on.

This product was great. We bought it for our daughter who has epilepsy as a way to protect her head. It is definitely a better option than a full helmet for little girl. What was most impressive was the quality of customer service I received when I called Unequal for customer support. They did everything they could to make sure is was happy.

I bought this for my daughter after she suffered a concussion playing soccer. We read the reviews and read various web articles from doctors specializing in head injuries. After deducing that it won't prevent other head injuries from the sports field but may help minimize the efects, we bought the Halo. Twice she's had some hard knocks and both times not in the area where the Halo protects. Since it is just a headband, the blow would have to land on the 2" piece of foam. In both cases, she got a ball kicked just above her temple and the other a "header" with another player towards the back of the head above the headband.Unless you wear a helmet, chances are it won't work where you need it.She did like how it stayed put and kept her hair out of her face during play.

Started ice-skating and fell and cracked my head got this to soften the blow the next time!!
