Wondertoys 170 Piece Wood Log Construction Set Building Toy For Children

My son wanted the classic name brand logs for Christmas. The name brand sets have mixed reviews and are rather expensive. I found these and although I can't confirm, I understand that these logs are compatible with the name brand. This is a substantial set. There are many mid length and long pieces. All pieces are wood including roof tiles and accessories. The box is filled to the top with pieces. He was very happy with this set and didn't care about the branding.

I searched carefully and found this item a better value than Lincoln Logs, the Gold Standard. These are real wood logs. I am interested in new small home construction (not a play in words) and I wanted a means to design three-dimensional new home models before putting said designs to paper. ‘Hands on’ home designing through use of these constructive logs is a very useful and visual way of coming up with room, door, and aesthetic features people would like to see in those new homes. I’m thankful for Wonder Toys to produce these toys for use in both play and for creative design. They are not just for kids.

Got these for my kids for Christmas. The instructions are horrible. You have to count each section of logs to figure out what to do. And the indents of where you “lock” in the logs with one another is a tad bit smaller than the traditional Lincoln logs. However, my kids enjoy them and we make it work with the mix of old and new.

Very nice set. Solid quality. You can do many things with it but to build a house shown in the picture you would have to follow the instructions. My lil one has not had the patience to watch me finish building it... She would knock everything down every time I start... And I'm working on her interest for such a set. Hopefully she'll grow more interest once she's a bit older.Update: finally, 6 months after we purchased this set, I was able to finish building the whole house without my toddler knocking it off before it's finished... And we added some more farm animals and Lego duplo friends...

They fit perfectly with other Lincoln logs, half the price, and the color is only slightly different
