Good Design but Seriously Overpriced Here
I have used these successfully for years. recently, however, the price on Amazon has gone up (as with so many other items) for no reason. These are plastic sticks and are not really reusable - can be used effectively no more than once or twice. They are available. You can buy 6 of these for $2 on a competitor's site (Temu), and that is really all they are worth. Sorry Amazon - you get 4 stars for the product but 0 for the price point.

Does the job in just a few minutes
My package of VASTAR's 4 pc 25" drain snakes came a couple of days ago. My bathroom sink is draining fast now. These drain snakes are made of a strong and flexible material that snags onto debris in the pipe to remove stringy debris.**The drain will not be cleaned.**No sparkles will appear in the sink.**You will be pulling wet "muddy" crud out of the slow drain, so that you can speed up the drain flow.**Make sure that your drain has an opening of at least 0.4" for the drain snake to fit through.I also started a list of things to remember before using the snake again: Have a plastic garbage bag right beside the sink to collect the incredibly nasty stuff that will be coming out of the drain. Give yourself a pep talk beforehand so you don't throw up. Mind over matter. Have some paper towels ready to wipe off the horrible stuff that gets flipped across the room, onto the mirrors, onto the walls and onto your face. Keep your mouth closed and eyes squinted as you pull out the snake. Stop removing the snake BEFORE its all the way out. Take this opportunity to wrap it in a paper towel and reposition your hand to the end nearest the drain so less of the icky stuff ...... well, ...see above. As I said, the smaller the drain opening, the harder it is to work the snake. You may wish to use some disposable gloves. Tugging on the length of the snake with its burs (designed to grab) can scratch up your hands. One last point, with the limited opening of my pipe, I could only move the snake up and down a little. Some other products advised to twist the snake. That was not something many sinks will allow unless some disassembly is done at the opening.I hope to not have to use them again, but these are absolutely great. Highly recommended.

Water was draining 2 minutes after I opened the box...
Why did I spend years pouring liquid acid down my pipes? This cleaned my bathroom sink in a few minutes. A couple of notes--first, I used it without removing the stopper which was key for me. it slipped through and came up with just some wiggling. Probably even more effective without it, but removal of the stop was not necessary for me. BUT, word of warning--pull it out slow. All those little barbs lead to a bouncy exit from the drain and that meant SPLASH of ugly stuff not just in the sink, but on the counter, mirror and my shirt. pull SLOWLY and you'll be fine. But super effective and strong and a real winner.

I didn't think it was working but...
I had a slow drain in my bathroom sink. I always try to remove my hair so it doesn't go down the drain but clogs still happen. I tried using Liquid Plumber twice but the clog wouldn't budge. I ordered these in the hopes that they would pull out what I assumed was a hair clog. It was kind of hard to get it down the drain. I did it four different times, each time only pulling up a small amount of hair but it did pull up black sludge. GROSS! After that, the drain worked great. It was extremely gross and hard to clean, but you can't argue with the price or the results. I will probably only reuse these a few times before using a new one.

Meh… Ok.
They work well for clearing drains as long as they aren’t clogged with years of hair and residue. Problem I have is they break easily at the handle. I’ve gone through 3 on 3 drains. One snake=One drain. They are inexpensive so I’ll buy more because they work pretty well. Just as long as you know they’ll break or be worthless after one use.

Works like a DREAM
All you do is stuff it down the drain… then, one swift pull up, the hair is easily removed! Works like a dream every time. Multiple per pack so if it’s really gross I just toss the whole thing out.

Use at own risk
This snake snapped in the process of cleaning my drain. Now a piece of it is stuck in my drain, in addition to all the hair it didn’t get out. I would give this zero stars if I could

Holy Moly - I think I’m going to puke
Wow! I’m a female with hair almost down to my bum and I have had to use draino on a regular basis most of my life (which I don’t like using). I tried alternative measures but they weren’t working very well and my drain got a little clogged so I ordered these cheap little things to see what they would do.OMG!!! At first it would only go in an inch. I had to really force it down another inch. It wouldn’t go any further so I decided to see what I had on my line. So I pulled and pulled and up came the most disgusting mass of darkness, it looked like a small animal had died. My dark side really wanted to take a picture but my rational side put gloves on and threw it away while I wrestled with my nausea. That was an hour ago and damn I wish I had taken that picture.Short story long….this product works!
