This was the perfect bag for safe travel around a city of pickpockets. It’s comfortable, stylish, well-made, and easy to lock and unlock. I had true peace of mind when using it.

I am absolutely in love with this bag. If you're looking? You need this. So, get this. I got a smaller size too and can't decide which one to keep!! When you don't need your whole entire purse, like for a day event or travel, or on the motorcycle, this is perfect. This easily holds, without being heavy, bulky, or noticeable, the following: sunglasses in a a softsided case, small wallet, chapstick, passport, pen, additional cards, S20 phone in a thicker case (in the back slip pocket). And room to spare!!! This is all as a hip sack (fanny pack, is so passé). AND I can wear it as a sling. AND I can wear it as a crossbody purse (although haven't done that yet, and i am wondering about strap length 🤔) Speaking of length, the strap fits me with a bit to spare. Do pay attention to details re: strap length as this will not fit a larger person (I'm kinda large) - come on travelon!! Although I like the idea of the smaller one better, I'll probs keep this one because it's perfect. Well, one wish is that the inside color have options like the signature teal or hot pink, and not boring gray..... zippers are great and latch like any other travelon..just need to get the little extra twist right. Once on, I slide the zippers into the strap slot for added security. Pix attached altho don't do it justice, really.

I love this purse. I have one by the same company in a smaller size which has lasted over 10 years and still going. I only purchased this one to have a little more room. Has RFID inside for your debit cards as well as several spots for debit card, library card, etc. Love that it has the reinforcement in the strap so it cannot be cut. I would not have it any other way. The “locking” feature alone is a deterrent. I have literally seen a perp give his cohort the “no go” sign when he saw my purse was locked - while checking out at Walmart. Sad to have to test out that part of it- but it worked!! So this purse functioned as it should by deterring a would be purse snatcher. :-D. I wouldn’t travel any other way! Size is perfect for my needs. And even has a nice outside pocket (again your body) where you can slip your cell phone conveniently inside. Front pocket has a “lock” feature as well as the main pocket. So both zippered pockets have a lock on them. Trust me, it has become obvious to me that would-be purse snatchers know purses and know what they’re looking for… and yes, I tipped off Walmart mgt and they said it had been an issue recently. Love that I had this purse on me front having traveled recently. After that…. I decided to make it my daily “go to” even when I’m not traveling due to that near miss. Way to go on the construction of this purse! You can’t go wrong here!

Used this purse to travel to Europe. Purse worked well but a little small. The strap was very stiff so a bit uncomfortable on my neck and shoulder. Originally I thought there was some shedding of material in the interior of the bag but I believe that may have been from a item I carried in the bag so this review is a revision of my original review. It was sturdy and I liked the pockets but it was just a little to small to carry everything I would have like.

Great rfid protective, over the shoulder purse for travel and casual outings. Lots for pockets inside make organizing easy. Roomy enough for my larger iPhone. Has held up very well over almost two years of regular use. Hasn’t lost shape or color. Looks about new. A good buy.

I have used and loved Travelon bags for several years! I love them! They provide the perfect organizational features, are durable and provide me peace of mind for daily use (I love being able to detach the strap, loop it around a chair or shopping cart and re-attach it, so my purse cannot be grabbed while I'm dining or shopping) and great organization. I use one every day! . BUT I needed a smaller-lighter bag for sight-seeing and cruise shore excursions.This one is perfect size! I packed it with the items I typically want to carry: 1) my phone (it fits in the front zippered compartment and the back slot) and it is easy to retrieve from either place, when I will need to use it. (Some purses have a slot for the phone, but it is so tight that I struggle to take it out or put it back--NOT with this purse! 2) The main compartment easily held a small wallet, pack of tissues, small sanitizer, small sun-screen, lip gloss, narrow-folding-hair-brush. 3) The passport slot easily held two passports, which I carry in RFID paper sleeves, but they also fit inside the interior zippered compartment (I worry about the passports slipping out of my purse or grabbed, if I need to open the bag for any other reason--so I keep them secure in a zippered slot along with the vaccine card). I probably will not use the credit card slots, because my wallet is so small, it fits in the bag and I carry more than 3 cards, so I may use the slots for airline checked-baggage tickets or parking stubs or receipts.)I probably won't use the bag as a fanny-pack; it just felt too heavy just hanging around my waist, but the option is there, if needed. I typically just loop the strap across my body and I'm still hands free.I can't comment on durability, because I just got this bag and have not used it yet. BUT I have used my other Travelon Bags every day for the last 4-5 years and they are still going strong.I love the look of a "designer bag", but they are just not functional and usually way too heavy. I have several and they just sit on the shelf in my closet. So Travelon bags are my go-to purse for daily use and traveling.

I have several Traveling bags. This one is the smallest but it fits everything I need to just go out to eat or to the store! It holds my phone, my card holder, a pen, lipstick…the essentials! It’s sturdy and can lock if you want it to. I like the little hook on a strip that I hook my card holder to. I can slide it into the RFID pocket and not lose it because it’s hooked in. It’s a very thought out little bag! Love it!
