Pay VERY close attention during assembly.
Overall, extremely good desk, especially for the price. It’s sturdy, solid, and SORT OF easy to put together. I went in skeptical of the reviews that complained about the assembly (I was an airplane mechanic, I can read complex electrical and mechanical schematics with ease. Ikea furniture, despite the memes, have never stumped me.) For context, I did assemble this completely alone and it took about an hour of active assembly. 2 hours total because I had to take breaks due to my disabilities (back issues)The instructions for this desk are rather small, and only pictographic with minimal guidance notes. To save you time, here’s where I got screwed up:When assembling the leg supports, set them in the orientation you plan to have them before attaching (I.e: if you want the double shelf on the left and the single shelf for tower on the right) my best advice, and it does not say this in the instructions, is you want to confirm that the extra holes for the cross supports are to the rear and inside for EACH side, however you assemble them based on your preference . I ended up with my shelf preference reversed because I didn’t think too deeply about it because I went in with a bit of huberus. Don’t be like me.Additionally, for attaching the legs to the table top: the instructions show you where to put the screws. What is difficult to see due to the fine print, is the red dotted line circle showing that you’re only attaching THREE screws for each assembly. The 4th hole, while it lines up with the support, is missing an anchor on both sides. I saw exactly 2 extra anchors in the spare parts bag and thought “Gee, they really thought of everything!” Popped in the anchors and the 4th screw. Fast forward to attaching the top shelf (hutch) part. Those holes that were missing the anchor? Yeaaaah those were meant for an extra long bolt + nut combo to secure the two side rails for the hutch. Queue me haphazardly crawling under my desk to unscrew the cross guards, unscrew the “legs” and using my back to lift the table top enough to use a screwdriver to pop out the anchors so I could attach the hutch. Before I continue, shoutout to my Harry Potter books for propping up those metal frame bars that hold the hutch shelves so that I could assemble them without assistance. I should have just grabbed some c-clamps from the garage to hold the other end up, but it was raining and I APPARENTLY like to do things the hard way.Final note: they ask you to attach the support rails individually, and THEN the wooden shelf bit. Doing this was a nightmare, because the metal bars for the shelves were a bit warped, and I found it nearly impossible to get the holes to line up on the bar with the ones on the shelf, and trying to (strenuously) manipulate the bar when the shelf wasn’t attached kept causing the shelf to slide out of place anyways. Again, I still managed, on my own, BUT I highly recommend doing it the opposite. Lay the shelf down, attach the guard rails, and then secure them to the desk (if you have a way to prop the other end up so it’s level.) additionally, I feel this desk was engineered for the shelves to be done this way, as when you do it the way the instructions tell you, the law of “righty tighty lefty loosey” is reversed when screwing the shelf on upside down, a fact I learned a little too late because when I FINALLY managed to line up one hole, the screw wouldn’t go in and when I switched directions, the screw slipped and fell and I lost the perfect line-up that I was holding with a very tired hand 😂ALL that said, please take the above as suggestions and not a bad review. I have ADHD and am prone to losing focus, which makes strictly small-print pictographic instructions with almost no guidance notes very difficult for me to follow. For the third time, I assembled this completely by myself, with almost no floor space to do it on, and still managed in an hour. If you’ve got a second person to help you, this will be a breeze! Super nice desk, super sturdy, lots of room (I’m a casual gamer, and my monitors are 24” and 27” respectively!) also the keyboard tray fits my full size keyboard and gaming mouse without issue or crowding.Definitely recommend this desk, however I hope the company will make clearer notes on the instructions, beyond just those little dotted red circles that I thought designated orientation and NOT “don’t put a screw in here”

Exceptional service and very simple setup
Package came a little beat up and after opening up the packaging the corners of the main desk were chipped and one of the sliding rails was a little bent and came apart. Not a huge deal as everything was still usable, if a little beat up, after bending the rails back in place and putting it back together. However, support was exceptional and very friendly when I reached out to them about the issue. I was just looking to get those parts replaced or maybe a partial refund but they also gave me the option of getting a whole brand new desk. So I have a whole new desk on the way that will hopefully be little less beat up. The original desk was put together very easily, I am really impressed with the look and feel of the desk. Very sturdy construction, so they must have done a number on this thing during shipping, and there is virtually no wobble. There was even an included spare parts bag just incase you were missing or lost one of the construction pieces. Overall could not recommend this desk or this seller more!

Fairly sturdy, looks good, functional
1. Ease of assembly - fairly easy to assemble, but definitely takes some time. Did 90% solo but my spouse had to help when I realized the two end bases were wrong after I’d attached the main top. Although the instructions are above average and they provide all necessary tools including an actual mini Phillips head screwdriver (note: electric screwdriver/drill will save a lot of time), one point I didn’t find clear and where you should pay close attention is which metal sides (verticals) are used for the inner base pieces. Two of the four pieces have holes on the rear where the cross-bar supports attach, and the two outer pieces do not. Double check the correct ones are used when assembling the side bases to avoid hassles of fixing later.2. Sturdiness - relatively sturdy. Claims to support hundred of pounds of weight and may be correct, but I don’t plan on testing it. Some slight side-to-side wobble that could be improved, perhaps by increasing the width and thickness of the metal used. It’s narrower and thinner than I expected - very light weight. My son accidentally bumped it the day we assembled it for him and a glass snow globe fell from the upper shelf and shattered on the desk. Suggest not to keep any breakables on the upper shelf.3. Functionality & looks - great! Nice size and usable desktop space. Appreciate the two options for the lower shelf (monitor stand) which holds quite a bit of peripherals. Lower side shelves are convenient and hold whatever you need.4. Value - good. There are many options in this price range so giving this a round up from 3.5 to 4. I’d give a solid 4+ if the metal used was wider and heavier duty hoping it would also increase the sturdiness / decrease horizontal wobble. In summary, not a regrettable purchase though there’s some room for improvement. My son is happy and therefore so am I. Hope it’s durable and holds up to daily use by a tween/teen.
