Here it is a current review.On the + side tamper is well made and is one of the heaviest on the market at 1lb 8oz or 24.34oz on my scale and has no etchings.It is 3 1/8” tall and base is 2 1/4” diameter.- side it is not one piece and is 5-$10 more expensive than others. I like the weight and the two piece is not a deal breaker. If you prefer a one piece there is a very nice one on Amazon. It is a little lighter at 22.27ozI use mine to hold sausage patties flat in the pan. Works great. PS: someone should change the description and picture on this item. Hope this helps.

Excellent 100% steel tamper, mirror shining flat surface, works great, love the weight + reasonably priced!

This tamper is overpriced, you can find the exact same one on amazon for 13$ just without the poorly done laser ecthing. I paid 30$ like a fool. This laser etching looks like trash and is either incomplete or the letters are horribly spaced. Looks like they don't know how to use a laser etcher.

The description clearly says it's unibody. That's not what I got - like one other guy, I got a two piece without the logo on it.I'm guessing it's a knock off. You really have to wonder whether it's food safe to use - I mean if they are willing to make a knock off, why not cut corners there too.I would pass on this one.

Tamper exhibits nice polished finish and appears better than promotional photos... Also, demonstrates good weight / heft to tamper. Highly Recommended. (Note: this written during 1st week from purchase; though insights on product long-term durability are unknown at this time, the tamper's construction appears very robust.

Who-the-heck wants a two-piece tamper made from pot-metal? Not me. So I got this. It's 90% beautiful, and does seem non-ferrous/stainless. Note that tamp-face is shiny, but _not_ perfectly flat; there are undulations in the finish and there shouldn't be. Also, as others have noted, diameter isn't 58mm; should be a little bigger to properly fit a 58mm portafilter.

This ramp was a present for my husband. He is a very dedicated barista and has made me banger coffees since.
